Looming US immigration crackdown aims to weed out pre-crime of poverty. And that may be bad news for techie families

Long overdue because our tax base is shrinking. Work participation is dropping and we need to increase productive workforce into the population. We cannot keep bringing freeloaders into the country. You look at all the coastal states, tons of people on welfare. Many illegals working cash jobs like construction and still getting free money from the local government. Tell liberals that if you wanna on-board more poor immigrants be prepared to have their income taxes hiked by another 10-15% and see how that works out.

That's the maximum federal fine unless you defrauded the government then there's a different set of fine levied. He will be sued by Microsoft in a civil trial for much greater restitution.

Every big CIO at a major corp wants to cap storage costs and move them to the cloud. The big storage costs has always been user content such as home drive, emails, downloads, app data etc. With Office 365 + OneDrive, more company wants to move this bottom-less pit over to the cloud and storage freed. The biggest cost imo is the total cost of storage. Your SAN, NAS, backups, and extra redundant hardware. The cloud will wipe away majority of these running cost.

Headsup for those managing Windows 10 boxen: Microsoft has tweaked patching rules

It's getting to the point where I've had it. My powerful home gaming PC fails to update multiple times. I downgraded to Windows 8.1 just to get higher hardware support than Windows 7. I finally had stable Windows updates and not get these updates that bricks my system from booting up requiring boot up repair with Win10. At work I get paid to manage system patches but I'm not risking my home PC to MS patch testing.
