Hi Lester,

here in Germany, you can get beer in 0.1, 0.2, 0.25, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and 1litre glasses. In fact, you can even get a regular pint if you happen to be in an Irish Pub. It hasn't hindered me or any of my friends in either getting totally $h1tfaced or even (on rare occasions) moderating our drinking to a lunchtime-friendly tipple. In fact, the only difference is the frequency of trips to the bar.

Futuristic???

Either you printed the sketches to a completely different patent or you can't read a drawing, because those drawings definitely don't show what you describe. Only the touchpad section on the laptop is shown as see-through and the see-through part doesn't seem to incorporate a display (although it technically could), rather you can see a small section of the main display through the touchpad. The keyboard could be a standard design and house all the electronics. As for the phone patent, what electronics/wiring need to be hidden in the lower section? It has a frame around it, and other than the display/touchpad/mic connections, all of which could easily be hidden in the frame, the rest could be in the upper part of the phone. So both are very feasible designs even with todays technology.

Further breaking news...

The RIAA have also decided to drop all criminal procedings against any of the newly homeless kids. An RIAA spokesperson has re-iterated, that "This has nothing to do with the fact, that all evidence has been destroyed, but was done in the name of Christmas spirit".

Weaponry?

Although the two kids in Cologne seemed to be quite serious about running amok through their school, their choice of "weaponry" was somewhat lacking in Bang. An airgun and a crossbow are hardly the ultimate weapon for such an endevour. They obviously weren't influenced by PC games this time, or did they accumulate their aggression while playing "Call of Duty 5 - The dark-ages" ?

The GeForce 8 series of GPUs went on sale in November 2006. The workstation graphic-cards, which are also based on the GeForce 8 (G80) went on sale in March 2007.

I'm just amazed that Lester didn't take advantage of "A Deluxe Boneless Box" for the usual endless fnarr-fnarr pr0n references (or possibly even a reference to Paris), not sure I'd want to share it between four though.

As usual, the brits decide to claim anything good out of Ireland is british when it suits them. As Brendan stated, Both Oscar and Spike while having been very witty people were both very much Irish. It reminds me of a very embarrasing moment on BBC Sport, when Barry McGuigan was boxing, the clueless commentator called him "One of Britains greatest Sportsmen" at the beginning of the fight, but several rounds later (when McGuigan had been beaten) Barry suddenly became Irish again, when the commentator announced "It was a sad loss for the Irish today". When will you ever get over the fact that we sent you packing a long time ago and are in no way a part of Britain/United Kingdom/Common Wealth or any other British Colony.
