Jeepers! Weird how Brits are brainwashed to accept their government overlords. They don't mind being taxed to death or the lack of freedom lost by the global governments. Just mention capitalism or freedom and they're like turkeys voting for *Bonfire Night.

P.S. I'm not a capitalist or a socialist, but IMO you need a balance of things to hinder outrageous greed and oppression. It turns out that I'm just a person who doesn't agree with either application of these philosophies.

This is why we have so many people in prison in 'Murica. 20 months for a repeat offender who just continues to do the same old schemes over and over is a joke. Like it or not, this kind of thing should be punished much more severely and it typically is across the pond.
