Void Linux gave itself to the void, Korora needs a long siesta – life is hard for small distros

Windows Notepad fixed after 33 years: Now it finally handles Unix, Mac OS line endings

Mister Goldiloxx

People use Notepad?!

When I used Windows, I used NotePad Light (there is also a paid version) for text files.

Since I switched to Linux I use Geany as a text editor, as it most resembled NoteTab Light.

Oracle demands dev tear down iOS app that has 'JavaScript' in its name

Mister Goldiloxx

"HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Snippet Editor"

Change the name to HTML5, CSS, 'Coffee' Script, HTML, Snippet Editor.

Everyone will know what it is. And THIS petty crap is why I won't use Oracle.

SAP okays Java EE being Eclipsed, six months after Oracle's announcement

Mister Goldiloxx

"That nuance might explain the delay in the “stance” appearing, as Oracle’s on Java EE decision was revealed in September 2017. SAP’s thinking was published on Monday, April 16th, six months later."

September to April is 7 or 8 months, depending on the day in September.
