UK watchdog finally gets search warrant

Wonder what the ICO expected to find after Cambridge Analytica was warned of the search well in advance? There must not have been any sober judges in existence in the U.K. to sign the search warrant when it mattered most. Pitiful.

"We have Libreoffice and Thunderbird which are fundamentally very good, but are beginning to look a little dated."

Sadly, I found that Libreoffice is not really "very good." Libreoffice IS NOT 100% compatible with Microsoft Office - for one, It will not properly print Microsoft Excel documents, I have to use MS Office for that.

As far as Thunderbird, I still prefer to use it instead of the bloated Outlook because, as dated as Thunderbird is, in my opinion, it still has more finesse and simplicity than the Microsoft mailer. What else do I need?

AT&T is much worse than Charter and the rest

Two years ago I had AT&T was my ISP to whom I paid monthly for 16 Mb/s (I believe). At peak business hours, I was getting 3 - 4 Mb/s, rarely I would get more than 10 Mb/s internet speed. To make a long story short, AT&T was throttling data speeds. When I complained to the Ohio Attorney General about being ripped off by AT&T, AT&T told the Attorney General's office that "electrical interference" is what causing my data speed to slow down, which was hogwash. The current article - had it been published a few years ago - would have helped me prove the Ohio Attorney General that indeed I was right, AT&T was cheating its customers deliberately.
