How can you have a nation wide presence when you have to constantly lean on the same openreach and BT infrastructure wherever you go, no easy access to ducts, no investment in wireless and a lenghty licensing with ofcom for the latter in addition to them yet allowing/licensing bands that will allow for quick deployment for point to multipoint wireless that would make life easy for everyone and skirt copper completely in some cases. (TBF the wireless stuff have moved up very quickly the last five years maybe ofcom will get clued up)
Not exactly the same thing, this is about a bug that can disable ABS presumably unbeknownst to the driver anyway, you'd still kinda have to know what to do depending on the car you're driving regardless of the aids.
Not sure how you should break on a modern automatic with no ABS and no clutch though, so I'd be screwed anyway.. (as far as I remember if there's no ABS and manual you slam the break before the clutch (rather than together) and might have to pump the break yourself)
But if you write "no" and have a record, then you can get fired for lying on the application, since it's technically fraud
Aaah so that's why the Home Office is always asking if I have committed crimes against humanity. I just thought that was their system for keeping dangerous fugitives out of the country.
I've actually had my parents on linux for 8 years now the amount of admin I have to do for them is negligible and its a little bit less likely they'd get conventional adware and viruses. Phishing ofc is the thing now and OS doesn't matter for that.
Munchee tried to sell "MUN Tokens", a form of digital currency that would be used by both reviewers and restaurants to unlock premium features in the app and to buy advertisements
With crap like this in the real world they're just making Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror and other such shows more difficult to write (case in point: The Thick of It, it all virtually happened now..). And I like such entertainment damn it! Not when it becomes reality
Oh yes, DC provider of ours doing routine UPS maintenance... Everything running on the diesel generators, one of the engineers apparently leans and buttocks said button "by accident" shutting down the generators the whole DC went off. Had some old servers there luckily everything came back no locked drivers or other nightmare stories I started reading about.
