Thank you Register for using it's original name in the headline. It's other name(not actually a name) is for marketing purpose. It knew nobody would call it that in Arab world, that's why it made that English fake title for advertising in English media(Which worked well for both parties). At this point it probably doesn't matter anymore but thanks again for not using their advertiser title.
As I understand from the article that Mozilla's plan is to recreate a whole different rendering engine from scratch. I wonder then what's the point of "Servo", which is in many ways different than Gecko but still a rewrite of Gecko in Rust? Does that mean a large portion of Servo will soon become useless, then why waste time of contributors?
This guy doesn't need 10 billion dollar, he needs mental help.
Or he is a clever snake who just wants publicity for his product which he got alright. At one point people try ANYTHING to get rid of their cancer. "Why not the miracle cure which got in the news on sites like The Register, ...! I mean this guy is suing for 10 billion, he is confident. What to lose at this point?"
-Another customer for his $47 pot of cancer curing divine honey.
Microsoft has a tendency to make non-tablet Windows user's(who are probably more than 90% ) life harder. Sometimes without any thinkable reason or request from users it makes changes to many already working things just making it harder and time consuming for non-touch PC users. Then they don't want to listen to user's request to undo that unless it is a big-feature change causing mass public outrage. After tolerating all these they'll then non-stop spy on everything.
Not a fan.
