100% agree with this. It seems like this information would be of importance to people who carry out maintenance on warships. It isn't like they are buying it from their local WHSmiths and rushing home with it.

I was going to say the same thing. Maybe a little more research was needed in this article, instead of making wild assumptions... because we all know who assumption is mother to.

Well, it says "his twin brother"... so I'm just guessing here, but I would say he is probably the same age +/- 10 minutes.

I do not see the correlation between the story and your example. All you have done is attach something great we (mankind) have done to this story to mock it. It makes you sound really clever, I'll do the same and see if it works for me.

I should have revisited this thread earlier. I’m reading some interesting and informative posts from GNHQ itself, no fewer.

It's a website, OxfordDictionaries.com, God knows where the '.com' went; maybe I deleted it.

I do enjoy reading comments where the GNs start correcting each other. Great stuff… keep up the good fight.

"Towed sonar"? You said it was the thickness of headphone cable and now you give an example of a Towed Array. I'm guessing you don't know how thick Towed Array cable is, think about it, it is dragging a Sonar Array through water. "deflates some of the sillier objections", more like it shows your lack of knowledge in this field.
