So potentially you won't have to pay for it at all - just the hardware it's running on.

They're not going to slap the 41 mp beast on the back of a mainstream mass-market phone, and they never will. You want a high-quality photos? Go buy a DSLR.

There's nothing wrong with having an opinion. But so many other people on this fucking website do enjoy crowing about it SO, SO MUCH.

The relentless, utterly fixated bile and hatred towards anything that has been touched by Microsoft on these forums has made me hate visiting this site, and I'll likely have to stop soon; as it's not doing my blood pressure any good. People seem to just post shit about Microsoft or one of their products for the fun of it - it's trolling, pure and simple.

Now clearly, if you have used it, tried it and diskliked it as a result - great! But why not simply dicsuss it? Why the poor tatse jokes, the insults, the pointless flaming? It is the single most irritating thing about this site and it spoils it.

I use Outlook and I enjoy using it - as do millions of other people around the world. I enjoy it becasue I don't notice it - it just works and it gets the job done in an efficient and reliable manner.

The people at Mountain View can be pissing in each other's mouths for all I care; this is an excellent update and one I can't wait to use full time.

Open Internet Explorer

Tools > Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN Settings button

Unitck "Automatically detect settings", Click OK to finish and close IE.

Speed issue solved.

Horses for courses? I really like to new interface - there were too many inconsistencies in the old ribbon which have now gone; and I don't find the CAPS titles to bother me at all.

I've used Office Web Apps for quite some time and the new functionality they're bringing along will be most welcome.

How is Metro UI a "failure"? Are you seriously basing that "fact" on the performance of Windows Phone 7?

Here's some news for you - developers don't have a choice about Windows 8 - it's coming this October, and almost every new PC will be sold running it - so develop, or miss out - their choice.

Whether you like it or not, Windows 8 is going to ship by the millions - Vista was *hated* - but still shipped MILLIONS of copies; because, and I will say it again - almost EVERY new x86 Desktop or Laptop sold was runnning Vista - you can't change it, you can't do anything about it, it's a fact and you have to deal with it. Your average consumer doesn't care about re-formatting and installing Windows 7 or another alternative O/S - they don't know how to - they will just accept it and get on with it.

And so your complaining vanishes in to the fart-stenched night from whence it came.

Why the fuck would they *need* to do a headless Server? Their entire product line has been about creating graphical interfaces that make working on computers easy and painless. If you want a headless erver there are plenty of alternatives out there - use one of them.
