Is this a challenge, how far do we push users before they leave ?
You know the format you used to get millions of readers, Guess what change that format millions of readers are not so interested. They came because they liked what they saw, change what they see they will leave.

Once replacing computers at Novartis, we pulled a production computer that was internally caked in 2" worth of various drugs in dust format. Machine worked fine though to its credit considering how good a insulator all that powder must of been.
Safe to say that went outside very quickly and was pushed off a cart with a long broom handle, whilst we stood round nervously chortling at the clouds of dust billowing away.
Really should of recorded it :/

Re: Offended by Blas de Lezo...
@yag, its to "cause offence".
They intentionally picked it to rub somebodies nose in it, boaty mcboatface, is just a bit of fun with no intention to piss somebody off.
They could of had both removed and called it a day, but suprised & happy they left both in the running :)

Re: 'The End of Free'
I dunno man, I host a bunch of websites for people out of my own pocket. I dont need to advertise on them. Its a service I am providing.....
Piss off with the free or nothing campaign, It's not that expensive to host a website. A few games sites that I go to rack in over 3k per month in donations, also not 1 ad in sight !!
The main issue these people have is that people are not prepared to pay for 90% of the content out there. They will look at it if it is free, but actually pay for it ..... Not a chance.
Ad blocks will only weed out the crap sites that rely on forcing ads in your face. And good bloody riddance !
New Anti Tracking browser from Ex Mozilla co-founder
Feels more like firefox, which doesnt suprise me much, due to icons & layout used.
But first impressions are blistingrly fast speed, The ad blocking is a bit hit an miss at the moment, but i suppose that is to be expected in such a new product. Would of loved a way to import settings from another browser to make trying it out much easier.
In regards to the coding side, i am afraid I am not qualified to comment. But happily accept your statment as an informed guide. The tracking protection I have no idea how good it is, as i never worried to much about being tracked on the web (no downvotes plz I just dont care) But the incessant ads plastering my screen I find highly irratating.
Obviously only time will tell. but did think you chaps would appreciate the concept behind it.
New Anti Tracking browser from Ex Mozilla co-founder
Well worth taking a look at,

First impressions equate to silly fast browsing and good ad blocking. If it's able to keep bloat out this will easily be my browser of choice.
also interestingly they are planning to add micro-payments for sites that block ads, but done off a donation system.

Best Fail I have seen in a while !!!
I was going to submit is as a news tip, but they have never written up on one I posted before before or even given me feedback.
When the same story is written that I have sent in they have never thanked me for the tip in the article so assume they found it themselves.
So rather then let the electrons go to waste via email. I ensured some of you would be able to see it :D

BBC telly tax drops onto telly-free households. Cough up, iPlayer fans
I wonder how it will pan out if you only watch netflix which if any BBC content is there has already been paid for?
This is basically a tax on anybody who can receive Iplayer content. I am quite happy to ditch BBC altogether, only shows I watched were Dr Who & Top Gear, both of which I can happily live without, Will I be given a chance ??? I doubt it very much !

This is so you don't find out its secretly the BBC that have been pushing for all the new housing and pulling in immigrants with false promises on their world service. They do this so that they can generate more TV license fee's !!! Soon they are going to take over and mindwipe everyone in their own homes !!!
