Tincture of iodine
Another thing that no longer seems to be available in a high street chemist (unless you know otherwise..). Allegedly used in the manufacture of metamphetamine?

I see he wants to reduce Tax on company reserves ( corporation tax?) from 35% to 10% to encourage companies to re-patriate all those $billions held abroad and, hopefully, create jobs in the us. There is, obviously, no self interest in this due to his many factories stationed abroad. I hope he gets on with the job of putting all his business affairs into a blind trust, or rather he lets his kids run them and then gets caught discussing the businesses with them.
"Of course the "Jail her" lie has now been enshrined in liberal lore for all eternity, so I'm wasting my time trying to correct the record here."
Not at all, we all saw that debate - I still have it on hard disk.
But how long have the GOP been trying to stick something on her ( to use a Trump expression).
"We are all wondering if he really meant all those strange, populist things he said."
All the interviews of republicans I've seen since the election have them saying " That was just for the election", or words to that effect. I've no doubt Obamacare is in his sights, though.
As regards capital punishment, I find myself wondering at the mental state of the executioner involved. What happens to someone who considers it their duty, to begin with, then has to live with the psychological consequences of their actions? What is the mental profile of those happy to continue doing it for years on end?
I freely admit to not knowing the way such things are managed in the system.
Missing Headers
Strict-Transport-Security HTTP Strict Transport Security is an excellent feature to support on your site and strengthens your implementation of TLS by getting the User Agent to enforce the use of HTTPS. Recommended value "strict-transport-security: max-age=31536000; includeSubdomains".
Content-Security-Policy Content Security Policy is an effective measure to protect your site from XSS attacks. By whitelisting sources of approved content, you can prevent the browser from loading malicious assets.
Public-Key-Pins HTTP Public Key Pinning protects your site from MiTM attacks using rogue X.509 certificates. By whitelisting only the identities that the browser should trust, your users are protected in the event a certificate authority is compromised.
X-Frame-Options X-Frame-Options tells the browser whether you want to allow your site to be framed or not. By preventing a browser from framing your site you can defend against attacks like clickjacking. Recommended value "x-frame-options: SAMEORIGIN".
X-XSS-Protection X-XSS-Protection sets the configuration for the cross-site scripting filter built into most browsers. Recommended value "X-XSS-Protection: 1; mode=block".
X-Content-Type-Options X-Content-Type-Options stops a browser from trying to MIME-sniff the content type and forces it to stick with the declared content-type. The only valid value for this header is "X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff".
A downvote for some reason. I see HSBC gets an F too.
How strange to be down-voted for pointing out an obvious flaw in an argument.
Must be one of these conspiracy theorists.
Is that you Donald?*
*Shades of :
" Hello my name's Joules, this is my friend, Sandy"
or
"Ron" - " Is that you Eth?"
Oh, hello Mr. Horn (aka Trump)
The current Republican farce doesn't live up to the standards of the old BBC one, and the BBC weren't being serious.
Mines the one with the 1959 copy of the Radio Times in the pocket, thanks.
"There has even been SOME evidence to suggest that evidence was DELIBERATELY TAMPERED WITH in Mrs. Clinton's first major law case, as 'Hillary Rodham', defending the rapist of a 12 year old girl, and getting him off with 'time served', because the rape evidence had become "lost" [while in HER custody]."
How strange, over here defence counsel does not get to keep prosecution material.
"The fact is, Windows is far easier to use for non technical people."
What you're referring to is the fact that windows comes ready installed on the pc when you buy it from the main outlets, the same thing is not yet true of Linux. Thus, most people have no experience of it. Android seems to be doing all right in the mobile phone market, though.
Let's be honest, Microsoft have 3 operating systems on the go : 7, 8(8.1) and 10. Instead of trying to fix one they keep pissing about with all 3 instead of dealing with the underlying security problem which is the windows system. Don't get me wrong, windows has served me well over the years and since xp it has performed very well indeed - there's lots of software out there to do whatever you need. BUT, and it's a big BUT, they've lost sight of the ball: they've tried to force people onto a new operating system/spyware program without many of the poor buggers out there realising what was going on. The ones I've saved are eternally grateful for not being on winx. They have all these people working on their systems so why can't they fix the underlying faults instead of waiting for others like google to do it for them? Sorry M$ you are your own worst enemy.
You want a really interesting liquid? Try dried cat's piss.
The wife's cousin had a cat that loved to sleep on her VCR, nice and warm. As it got old it became incontinent, as a result the VCR refused, one day, to function. Unaware of the reason for the failure and with no discernible smell, I took said m/c into work for a lunchtime inspection. On seeing the corrosion, I decided to re-solder the joints on the pcb - mass exodus, windows open etc. The air was blue : "WTF are you doing over there?"
No amount of washing in anything could get rid of all the corrosion, it never did work properly afterwards.
( I know, dried cat's piss isn't a liquid.)
I know the idea of a public health service doesn't play well with many of our friends across the pond, nevertheless I feel they should introduce a system of free care for these people in the way of intrusive medical intervention of one sort or another.
Paris : Knows all about intrusive intervention.
The fact that it's not secure doesn't excuse these buggers making it even less so. The whole point is to get these people to tighten up their procedures to make it secure. Forgotten password prompt should require 2 factor authentication. You'll thank us for making your convenience obsolete.
"Dear ****,
You're new to this, aren't you?
Here is an easy page to read about why email is insecure and why your company's policy of sending a link which gives direct access to my account with my personal information and that of my family is lunacy.
http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/can-email-ever-be-secure/
I am referring your reply to the relevant government department.
I forwarded the reply to the ICO. I have had reason to complain to them before over a copy of a power of attorney that was sent by a pension company by email.
The pension company were forced to apologise to me but the ICO took no further action as it was felt to be an "isolated incident".
I can't wait to see how this works out.
Why not try it for yourselves, guys? Just don't put in your correct details. :)
How did he get that title? Engineer ffs? If he is an engineer and not a wet behind the ears script kiddie he should be ashamed.
Talking of exposed information, did you know that if you use the confused.com website to search for an insurance deal that they then send you an email with a link to your account - with all the details you've entered "and no need to log in"!
Wonderful innit?
I complained and this is the response I got :
"Hello Mr ****,
Thank you for your email. My name is **** ****** and I'm a complaints officer here at Confused.com.
I'm very sorry you're worried about security after using our website. Rest assured this is not the experience we want for our customers.
After you generated insurance quotes for your ********** flat, our system would have sent an automated email on the day you received your quotes to confirm your cheapest prices. When you click the link in this email you are directed straight into your Confused.com account, and this happens because only the email account holder (yourself) will have access to this link. Additionally, the link can only be clicked a certain number of times and can only be clicked for a period of time (30 days) before it becomes unusable.
In this case, Mr ****, your Confused.com account could only be compromised if your email account were to be accessed by another person, so we would advise you to keep a strong password and security question on your email account to prevent this from this happening.
I hope this email clarifies why you were able to access your account without a username and password, Mr ****, and I hope this reassures you that nobody else will be able to do so unless they have access to your email account where they can find the link. As the email can only be viewed by yourself, I've closed your complaint as not upheld.
I hope that we have been able to resolve your complaint with this explanation, but if you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact us again."
Be warned, this is the level of competence these companies have facing the world.
