Personally I think HPE are in pretty good shape they have some great leaders with Mark and Lee, just removing some of the dead wood in my humble opinion.

You need the right management team to lead any business and in the current environment and market it will be even more challenging. What is becoming clear to me is the role Microsoft are having in shaping the work place, they are already cornering the mobility client market and with Aruba and it's integration into Skype and traffic marking they have a solution that will finally give users and IT a wired/wireless same experience. Their Azure platform has some great functionality and they are baking in some of the services like Power BI, Dynamics and Cortana. I would suggest it's an exciting time to be part of that ecosystem.

One Massive Coincident or just bad luck?

Not to mention a host of managers, key support members and sales heads and it's to quote a 'Coincident', or maybe he's just unlucky? I wonder what he will tell Microsoft when they coming looking for a return on their massive investment into Insight, more bad luck or coincidentally lost with all those key personnel??

Capping vs Effective target setting??????????

Capping sales people is a very dangerous business in my humble opinion, it creates completely the wrong sort of behaviour in terms of 'sand bagging' and not driving over achievement. Businesses seem to use capping when their management layer is simply not good enough to set the right targets! Perhaps CISCO should review it's target setting and management team instead of penalising the people who are selling their products?

Good news for Juniper, HP, Dell, VMware and all CISCO competitors who don't penalise their sales people for being good at their job!!

The writing's on the wall for Insight UK

Taylor leaving Insight is a huge loss for them in a company that is becoming full of politicians and spending too much time on internal posturing. Taylor is a no nonsense doer and unfortunately Insight now have a real dearth of people who can get the job done! Systemax have gained a great resource and I am sure he will help them turn around their fortunes.

Insight on the other hand have a foreign body that is cancerous, it leads me to question how long Lamneck and the board will allow this cancer to eat away at a successful, well run and profitable UK business. This appears to have been manufactured to detract from the woeful performances of Germany and France!! How many more of Insight most valuable 'Assets' will walk out before the board acts and removes the real problem?
