Re: Dell orders can be shortened

The order for the HP server must have been screwed up. Assuming the options you had to install in the HP box were standard supported options for that server : if those items were included on the order with the "0D1" option (factory installed) then those components would have been installed at the factory before the unit shipped. Someone in the ordering process dropped the ball.

Saying this with some authority as I was a project manager would worked at the HP Houston plant for several years.

Canada GDP per Capita 51,958.38 USD (2013)

USA GDP per Capita 53,041.98 USD (2013)

Sudan GDP per Capita 1,753.38 USD (2013)

(Canada + USA)/2 = Sudan ???

My two American favorites after moving from Toronto to the Bay Area of California are:

1. " Of course California has a greater population than that of Canada - California is bigger than Canada ! "

2. " You have driven on every road in Canada - right ? "

Point taken. I remember returning from a service call in my HP CE-Mobile in the mid-nineties (cellphone handset in the armrest, big black box in the trunk), and picked up a broadcast internal voicemail from corporate HQ announcing the HP Itanium partnership with Intel. Twenty years and still waiting for that chip that "will change everything".
