Missing a trick here
Surely given that the Chinese are global leaders in tracking people, they should be the main contractors, would probably be the cheapest and ByteDance has demonstrated the ability to build world class systems.

"In certain circumstances when Autosteer is engaged, and the driver does not maintain responsibility for vehicle operation and is unprepared to intervene as necessary or fails to recognize when Autosteer is canceled or not engaged, there may be an increased risk of a crash,"
Sounds like the sort of ruling that got us the stern warning on McDonalds coffee, Caution: Contents hot.
Instead of these stupid restrictions couldn't we just stop, um, less capable folk from going out without supervision?

I have my second Tesla and I am pretty pleased with it, however, I doubt that my next car will be a Tesla, other manufacturers are catching up and the charging network is improving. The Xpeng P5 with lidar, radar, cameras, and USS seems to be in the lead when it comes to cost effective "self driving" meanwhile Tesla thinks it can do it all just using cameras, bonkers.
Reed Group Aylesford had PDP 11/70, Primes, and IBM 360, don't remember any Petes though, but I do recall a Mike.
Before then in the 70's when I was a shift leader at a datacentre in Beckenham the Director responsible for IT used to pay social visits to the computer room whilst puffing away on his pipe. Of course, smoking in the computer room was forbidden but no one ever said as much to the big boss. I always hoped that one day his cloud of smoke would set off the fire alarm, it never did, but one day I had finally had enough and quietly triggered the alarm myself. Profuse apologies from puffing billy and there was no more pipe in the computer room.
Reuters headline yesterday "German automation talent powers Musk's battery move to Europe". Model 3 production last year was saved by 6 plane loads of German robots and "Made in Germany" Teslas is viewed as a big plus. Also Germany has announced huge subsidies for battery development in Germany.
In my experience some folk are much better, one or two orders of magnitude better, at software development than others. Nowadays they get promoted to some role where they don't actually do anything useful. I can't remember now why the IBM Chief Programmer Team system was discarded, I'm sure someone will remind me. However, it seems to me that one good developer with a strong support group can be much more productive than a group following a set of rules, Agifail or whatever, designed primarily to check up on the performance of generally poor team members.
Not sure if the devices reviewed are dedicated to use with the TV or can be used as more general purpose sound delivery devices.
I use a SONOS Playbar, SUB, and a pair of Play 3s and I am very happy with the sound for films and general TV. Very immersive for watching football. Also, jolly handy for playing music and listening to the radio when the TV is off. I used to have big speakers but my wife didn't like the "clutter".
Many of us these days seem content to trade a bit of quality for a lot of convenience.
