Judging by British dashcam channels on YouTube, those systems will probably understand the concept far better than many current British drivers...

True, but the ship's emission's are spread out over so many units that the distribution the last miles to the end user by truck is likely to have a bigger impact...

Assange reverse-ferrets on promise to fly to US post-Manning clemency

Re: him inside the ecuadors

Not bother to try to investigate an alleged rape?

It's not like the DA has been having it as a high priority to push the investigation forward (ie getting to interview Assange), to the point of getting a formal smack on the hand for the tardiness

That'd actually make 'em useful - keeping the Reavers uninterested.

If we were to uncritically believe Youtube videos, all our energy worries would be solved, as there's a ton of videos on there that [claim to] show over unity power and free energy devices.

Sadly, not everything shown on Youtube is what it looks to be - please engage brain when viewing anything more technical than cat videos.

Man killed in gruesome Tesla autopilot crash was saved by his car's software weeks earlier

Re: White Truck?

U.S. semi trailers could also adopt side guards, thus not presenting the void the Tesla apparently tried to drive through.

As a bonus, any collisions /'drive unders' that do occur would be of lessened severity as the colliding vehicle could use its major deformation zone instead of taking the full impact on the A-pillars.

Re: Hang on

Depends on how you define things I guess...

If you go by ''automatically placing another round ready to be fired", then no, as the spent case stays in place...

If you go by "one shot fired for each trigger pull with out any other action by the shooter inbetween" then I'd say a double action revolver could be called be semi-auto while a single action revolver would not (as the SA requires the user to cock the hammer manually inbetween trigger pulls, wile the DA does that for you, at the expense of heavier/longer trigger pull.

Re: HiFi vs Premium

For some reason (despite bass is comparatively 'cheap' to encode), encoders tend to filter out the lowest bass.

Maybe because the expected play-back equipment typically is bad at reproducing it anyway? (Thus sucks to be using better gear...)

With the proper encoder you can choose to keep it though. At or above 256 kbps ABR, my ears can't really tell the difference (occasional passage in occasional tunes can give it away) between a well encoded mp3 and the raw wav, played through decent/good equipment in a quiet environment.

Since 95% of my music listening is in the car, I find that 320 kbps mp3s, given good settings on the encoder is good enough >>for me<<. If your ears are better - kudos to you

"It doesn't advance things, it doesn't walk them back either."

It's their job to advance the investigation. They haven't been doing much of that for a long time now.

They've conducted interviews abroad in other cases, so why not this one?

Re: dan1980

Because it's the prosecutors job to carry the investigation forward. It's not like they haven't done interviews abroad previously, in other cases....

If he wasn't afraid of extradition to the US, why would he spend more time, in effectively house arrest, than he'd be likely to receive for the sexual offences in Sweden? Our jails don't have THAT bad a reputation (I believe.)
