Legalising London's bed-hopping economy is POINTLESS

Senshi
Thumb Down

It's currently illegal, but no one's been charged (supposedly), so let's just keep it illegal? I don't see anything wrong with trying update laws for the internet era. Is the 'author' recommending that people continue to break the law?

Yes our NAS boxen have a 0day, says Seagate: we'll fix it in May

Senshi

Yes, it's so unlikely, let's wait months/years to do anything about it. I really hope you're not in IT, because if you are, you aren't part of the solution. You're part of the problem.

US watchdog: Anthem snubbed our security audits before and after enormous hack attack

Senshi

"Anthem participates in the US Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, which requires regular audits from the OIG, audits that Anthem allegedly thwarted. Other health insurers submit to Uncle Sam's audits "without incident"

So, where's the punishment for Anthem? Are they 'too big to fail?'

If regular audits are required, then hold them to it, or remove them from the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.

The supreme court had a chance to do something, but instead they went with the status quo. No surprise there, but disappointing nonetheless.

So you're comparing TELEVISION to things like: roads, railways, schools. Right, great comparison.

Title II

What the author failed to note is that Title II reclassification only happened because of Bush jr and his free market above all else mantra.

It was a mistake back then, and the only solution is reclassification, again.

How the FLAC do I tell MP3s from lossless audio?

Senshi

Re: What happened to MP4 AAC?

Mp3 only cuts off at 16k at like, 128k, maybe 192. 256 and higher it goes right to 20k.
