Re: Sharp Practice
In my day at PCW, staff received a small amount of commision for gerneal sales, but a bigger lump for warranties and pressure from sales manager to flog it even if customer didn't want it. In my defence I used to respect the customers wishes and take the flak from managers, after 6 months, I left.
What could possibly go wrong, hmmm, lets ask all the US medical companies and government departments that have massive leaks in the couple of years. More importantly,if it does go wrong, how will it be investigated, if it even gets reported and those effected get compensation, even the NHS can't fight US lawyers !
HP cocked up and US legal system using every dirty trick in the book to assist them in making a case, even if they have no legal jurisdiction. Funny how UK and Dutch governments are not complaining of the US treading on their legal toes or have they been warned off, with it being a fat cat US company?
Doens't matter if the spooks are found guilty of breaking the law, nobody will take the blame, no data will be deleted and no laws will change, as UK Gov/IPT or whoever, will just sit back and ignore the rules until after Brexit and then make it all legal. Look at how many laws the EU have passed and the UK have failed to implement, even though they know it is illegal ?
Slurping people's info without a warrant? That's OUR JOB, Google, Facebook et al tell US Supreme Court
Oh my god, almost peed myself laughing at the tech companies own comment ..
When customers transmit personal data to technology companies in the course of using digital products and services, they reasonably expect that data and the metadata generated alongside it to be securely stored and remain private as to the rest of the world"
When has that ever stopped them from sniffing about our data to make quick buck, that's is just being hypercritical !
