So, let me get this straight.

- bargain basement price of £210 (with discount) for a premium all metal design

- it's not a Samsung Galaxy Whatever

Shut up and take my money!

Duly ordered and looking forward to replacing a 3 year old Note 2. TouchWiz will be missed like a TV Licence inspector who calls when you're out.

About the only thing to criticise is the non-removable battery and no RDS on the FM radio.

So, Windows 10 then.

Phone home spyware? Check

Forced updates? Check

PITA ribbon bar plastered everywhere? Check

Start menu with feckin' tiles? Check

Search with a default setting to scour the Internet? Check

Cortana shite? Check

New and improved IE? Check

Old and slow IE? Check

Pointless Metro apps on the desktop? Check

Touchscreen crap still shoehorned into the OS? Check

Tightly integrated cloud computing cack? Check

Inevitable subscription model to "rent" the OS after a year? Check

I don't see any compelling reason to upgrade from Windows XP, never mind Windows 7, even if they're giving it away for free. Next stop after Windows 7 for me is Linux Mint, time to cut Microsoft loose and go with something usable that doesn't insist on trying to hoover up all your data or pack a pointless touchscreen UI.

Not surprised, Lenovo are the only company that "get" the mobile market and make phones with huge capacity batteries. My P780 Android lasts nearly a week on a single charge.
