Fair Play To Him!
People who get up after being asked to stay seated are self important morons.
Hope the arse who dropped his case on him was severely inconvenienced by the ensuing delay.

Health Authorities love spunking tax cash on useless overpriced gadgets.
Just look at those special, over priced "Clean Me!" keyboard that were installed in some UK trusts.
They now get cleaned as regularly as a normal keyboards would (never) but with a nice LED to say it's not been cleaned.
How much were they each...?
Kerching!!!
I have to pay the French equivalent of the licence fee but never watch French TV.*
But I would also be quite prepared to pay the full UK licence fee if it gave me access to iPlayer etc.
from anywhere in the world. (I already watch/listen to the BBC for free. Thanks.)
*Even though you can now watch some French channels in VO English via the multi-language audio support on the TNT digital channels for certain (mostly American) programmes.
There was a time when the UK excelled at this stuff.
Here in France I recently bought a Philips TNT/HD TV and can now watch French channels in HD with an English soundtrack , when available.
If the French have pulled their fingers out for most terrestrial channels, why can't the UK?
Most of the above comments seem to be a bit sour grapes as the French workers still have rights, legal protection and actual industries to work in whilst the UK employees* just get fucked at every turn.
*I'd say workers, but with hardly any industry in the UK most people are just "employees", aren't they?
I know plenty of places that restrict access to R&D sites of cameras, phones with cameras and even laptops with webcam. All have to be left at security/reception when going on site.
No law changes required.
Companies take IP protection very seriosly.
Infact we just had to re-order a liad of laptops and specifucally ask tgat the supplier remove the webcams.
I don't know why someone doesn't make a killing on tamperproof security stickers that could be applied on entry and checked when you leave.
'PETA's Alisa Mullins simply says of El Prez: "He isn't the Buddha, he's a human being, and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act."'
Really? So enlightened human being shouldn't swat flies, kill mosquitoes or any other parasite bearing insect?
Why does El Reg give voice to these arses?
I'm wondering what animal derived products this pampered western-world living spokesdroid uses?
After all they have a VP who is against using animals for medical science, but is unworried about using the resulting medical breakthroughs. Hypocrites.
Just grabbed one of these.
It is a great little camera with a rich feature set.
The 2 drawbacks as pointed out by the review and others are the stupid flash that pops up all the time (firmware fix please, Canon?) and the use of a Li-Ion battery.
Although not using AAs does mean that the flash recycle time and battery life time especially when using the flash are significantly better than my A720 IS.
It is more solid and more pocketable than the A720.
As PETA exterminates a bigger percentage of animals they "rescue" than any other animal welfare org., maybe they should look at sorting that out before wasting their time on nonsense like this.
Oh, and they support terrorists, so **** them anyway.
If PETA rescued a penguin, chances are they'd kill it.
There are a lot of "financial" companies flogging P-V investment opportunities in France at the moment due to EDF being forced by gouv.fr to buy 15%(?) of their electricity from renewables.
Not only does this seem pretty dumb in a country where 85% of generating capacity is nuclear and a further 10% hydo, but the figures being bandied about as to the annual generating capacity of a fixed sourth facing panel inclined at ~25 deg are frankly absurd.
