One click and you're out: UK makes it an offence to view terrorist propaganda even once

Jake Maverick

um so what is terrorism....? anything they unilaterally decide doesn't fit with their 'version' of events......they've been locking people up and torturing them under mental prime directive in the UK for nearly two decades now!

Bad news for WannaCry slayer Marcus Hutchins: Judge rules being young, hungover, and in a strange land doesn't obviate evidence

Jake Maverick

STFU and get a lawyer? how do you do that? they don't play by the rules in the UK or the US....

Accused hacker Lauri Love to sue National Crime Agency to retrieve confiscated computing kit

Jake Maverick

at least he'll get a hearing because of the media attention, most of us can't even get that......triply so for those of us who have ha their identity stolen :-(

Excuse me, sir. You can't store your things there. Those 7 gigabytes are reserved for Windows 10

Jake Maverick

theft legal now....world wide? :-(

A few reasons why cops haven't immediately shot down London Gatwick airport drone menace

Jake Maverick

um, couple of thoughts....so called police routinely break the law every day, it's a job requirement...so that is hardly an excuse.

they don't cause a problem in places like Iraq and afghanistan, they shoot them down all the time...i suspect more likely arguments going on whether to deploy that tech as plenty of journalists about and they don't want known how advanced their tech is....

why no photos of this drone? surely somebody should have got some pics by now with a super duper lense?

just leaves me with very uneasy suspicion something bigger going on here that we're not being told about....

If most punters are unlikely to pay more for 5G, why all the rush?

Jake Maverick

appalls me that this article and a quick browse of the comments fails to mention two things.....1. being this gives state employees and any individual with the brains and enough money to buy the technology (which isn't much) the ability to view and record everything that goes on in your own home in full 3d holo porn....the concept of radar has been common knowledge for over a hundred years, right? It's just a question of acquiring the hardware (a smartphone) and the software....did hear of a company developing very limited software for sale for commercial applications...18 months back, so probably on market by now...it's just a Q of tweaking that software a bit to get the really good full HD holos/ colour them in with relaistic flesh tones etc....2nd point being the health aspects. known to cause cancers and neuroligical impairments, damage to thyroid gland and other stuff....the full effects of which obviously aren't yet known and what is known is being suppressed....this really is the new asbestos and potentially a lot worse....everybody gets that inflicted on them regardless of whether they pay for it or not.....and it really is just not needed!

Sorry friends, I'm afraid I just can't quite afford the Bitcoin to stop that vid from leaking everywhere

Jake Maverick

this couldn't possibly be the same guy that got Dirty Den sacked/ killed off again could it? :-(

UK computer dealer Aria PC loses £750k VAT fraud appeal attempt in THAT case

Jake Maverick

Ha ha! i have no sympathy for this bugger....I used to trade with them good 15 years + back....sold me a bunch of dodgy cpu fans, wrecked motherboards and cpus....convinced me to send the evidence to them so they could 'verify'.....and promptly destroyed said evidence....cost of postage out of my pocket to. Long and short of it they destroyed my business, nearly went bankrupt over it....I suspect deliberately as I was a competitor as well as a customer.....at the time they couldn't even answer their phones....hour and a half once i let it ring, nobody picked up......these scoundrels are as dirty as they come......not to mention margins on PC equipment are very tight....so how can this joker afford to pay the lawyers for continuing to drag this all out if he's not been ripping people off?

30 spies dead after Iran cracked CIA comms network with, er, Google search – new claim

Jake Maverick

some good news at last then i guess....but this sounds deliberate to me, hard to believe that they really are that incompetent at that level....and they fire the only person who seemed to be? competent? what that tell ya..... :-(

Take my advice: The only safe ID is a fake ID

Jake Maverick

fake ID no good anymore...it all has to link back to govt sanctioned DBs now so you are screwed, as i am....ID stolen 12 1/2 years back and haven't been able to get so much as a bank account ever since...so you canimgaine how screwed my life is, certainly no hope of a career now even if i could get back onto the system tomorrow

Phil McKrakin

Chap asks Facebook for data on his web activity, Facebook says no, now watchdog's on the case

Jake Maverick

Was always taught that the law was effectively the same under the Data Protection Act. But the DPA Registrar nor the Information Commissioner actually did anything to enforce it or even investigate. Couldn't even get the data that local council or past employers were holdingon me to name few examples...I even went to court over it, to no avail....just ignored So I'm very doubtful this will actually go anywhere either.....expect the response to be something along the lines of going to take couple of years, but ahem..Brexit so we not going to bother.

Winner, Winner, prison dinner: Five years in the clink for NSA leaker

Jake Maverick

Been saying for years...never trust the Intercept! You just need to look at who owns it.... :-(

Also, Jeremy Hammond? Been sentenced to a lot longer....ten years if memory serves :-(

Trio indicted after police SWAT prank call leads to cops killing bloke

Jake Maverick

article doesn't actually say...but I'm presuming the pigyob or pigyobs that actually committed the murder got away scot free, possibly with a promotion...? whilst still enjoying his anonymity...

'Plane Hacker' Roberts: I put a network sniffer on my truck to see what it was sharing. Holy crap!

Jake Maverick

Re: EMP

EMP are easy to generate when you know how.....you can build an EMP gun from bits of microwave and other things you probably have in your home....just surprised it doesn't happen more often....oh wait, anybody remember that spate of helicopter crashes that happened few years back....?

Jake Maverick

5% discount on insurance? I don't drive...but I have young friends that the insurance company simply refuses to insure them unless they accept the tracking box and none of them have any idea of what it is doing/ sharing....and in other cases the difference in the bill is several thousands pounds, are several hundred % markup for those who do/ have the option of refusing if they want to drive. But with ANPR what real diff does it make? you think the pigyobs paid the copyright fee for 'yaba dabba do....?' I doubt it...

BCC is hard, OK? Quite a lot of orgs blurted your email addresses in GDPR mailouts

You know that silly fear about Alexa recording everything and leaking it online? It just happened

Jake Maverick

I can't believe even the idiots are actually buying these. They only 'know' because 'it screwed up'.....but you actually have no way of knowing when it is recording and when it isn't or who is listening....this is the state's wet dream! They're forced to give access to the state anyway.....you ever wondering what those buildings in Utah are actually for....? far more storage space exists that can possibly be required for copying themselves into everybody's emails and dick pics....

Zero arrests, 2 correct matches, no criminals: London cops' facial recog tech slammed

Jake Maverick

dats almost a poem.....

Jake Maverick

Re: "or through a brief conversation"

you ever tried doing that in practice? there is no rule.....they'll just kick the shit out of you and violently abduct you anyway....for many it's reason enough to have you ass raped in mental prison! it's SOP, just because media won't report on it dnt mean it's not been happening.....! those who refuse to co-operate with these anonymous psychopaths who rape, torture, steal and murder with immunity are all mentally ill....didn't you know?

Jake Maverick

I've asked to be removed, repeatedly- it just provokes more violence from them.

I also suspect they're lying...the technology is much better than that! I know for a fact it was late 90s as I was working on it then....technology can only have improved since then!

They're actually using the term "fixated individual" now....? you know when you have been FTAC'd :-( it's code for 'political dissident' or activist or campaigner......who are routinely targeted by the state and have their entire lives destroyed so they can't campaign, talk to people, be part of the 'debate' etc....that is the kinda cuntry this is now and has been for well over a decade. You don't see it until it happens to you.

I can't even go to a train station without being punched in the throat by some yob in a mask. I certainly don't go to 'public events' anymore... :-( There's thousands of us, this cuntry at least.

Tech support made the news after bomb squad and police showed up to 'defuse' leaky UPS

almost sounds like some dumb ass AI was listening in on the phone call....!

It's true – it really is grim up north, thanks to Virgin Media. ISP fined for Carlisle cable chaos

Jake Maverick

Until criminal charges are applied and individuals prosecuted and gaoled there is no rule of law :-(

BOOM! Cambridge Analytica explodes following extraordinary TV expose

Jake Maverick

erm...they did away with the concept of warrants well over a decade ago...? anon suspected pigyobs just charge in and seize and destroy (usually) all the actual evidence...? what does that tell you....?

Crowdfunding small print binned as Retro Computers Ltd loses court refund action

Jake Maverick

Hawaiian fake nukes alert caused by fat-fingered fumble of garbage GUI

Why did top Home Office civil servant lobby Ofcom for obscure kit ban?

Jake Maverick

"departments would do anything to get rid of him."

that is why he's always highly recommended then? always a big RED WARNING SIGN!!!!

Smartphones' security enhancements just make them more dangerous

Jake Maverick

um, idiots really are giving these companies/ the state their fingerprints, face scans....and soon dna? :-( nobody should ever have that kindof power.....especially as the state employs total idiots to enforce said laws....i mean if i was the type to go around raping and murdering people....it wouldn't be my cigarette butts that i 'drop' outside their window now would it? :-(

what reaally worries me is that this is becoming so embedded in society that at some point it will probably end up being mandated by govt even...or even without it will become impossible to be a functioning member of society without agreeing to it....

Bigmouth ex-coppers who fed media MP pr0nz story face privacy probe

Jake Maverick

covered under whistleblowing legislation? you're having a laugh surely....? what do pigyobs and the like do to whistleblowers.....and if you remember what prompted the raid it was because somebody was whistelblwoing to Green on what the govt was doing?

Jake Maverick

when have they ever played with a str8 bat? not for over 20 years as far as i can see....

Jake Maverick

Seems a bit silly and somewhat surprising...for over 17 years now (long ongoing 'dispute') suspected pigyobs routinely flout that law along with all the others. Numerous breaches by these people over this time has had a large part in destroying my life...if only there was an appropriate body I can at least complain to :-(

But as I recall they didn't have a warrant to gain access to that computer in the first place. And it wasn't Green or any of his underlings that gave them 'permission'...It was the 'Speaker of the House' that effectively helped them into gaining illegal access...not just on Green but on his constituents and no doubt numerous other people. All of which is extremely personal...never arrested or prosecuted as usual.

Goes to show it's not really who you think is the government are the one's that rule us.

IT plonker stuffed 'destructive' logic bomb into US Army servers in contract revenge attack

Re: Two fails

you just thinking of that Superman film....numero 3 was it? ;-) been long time, but token black guy/ Pryor did it.......

Jake Maverick

um, reasonable doubt anyone....?

people who don't work in IT don't seem to get it, but it is extremely easy to frame people for these things....I mean really, if you were going to do something like this would you really use your own ID? or somebody else's...? and when you have access to the back end of systems you've effectively got access to everybody's ID....I find it very difficult to believe that somebody who is competent enough to do that job in the first place would do that in a way where it was trackable back to him....I suspect the same on that Litvinenko assassination as well, but morons blindly following the evidence.....there is no easier way to frame people. in the physical world u wd need to plant a cigarrette but, dna, fingerprints or something....much more difficult!

even when you don't have that kind of access still very easy to plant something like, say kiddy porn or whatever on your managers PC.....tell his manager you saw him looking at kiddy porn on his computer, manager checks....he's fired and u get a promotion....how many times do u think that has happened?

US yanks staff from Cuban embassy over sonic death ray fears

Jake Maverick

"We have no reports that private US citizens have been affected, "

I call bullshit on this one! There are plenty of reports....'cept when we report it all us political dissidents are interned and then ass raped and tortured in mental prisons. They've been using them and refining the technology for decades. Now it seems other powers have got their hands on them to....Russia would be the obvious suspect to start fighting back/ defending themselves and have easy access through Cuba.....

Other more famous TIs/ gang stalking victims (which is essentially the new name for MKultra/ contelpro) are Aaron Alexis, Myron May.....there are thousands if not tens of thousands of us though, all over the planet...

Equifax mega-leak: Security wonks smack firm over breach notification plan

Jake Maverick

it's all a part of the plan...we seem to be somewhat behind schedule, hence this....but it wnt be long now until u are forced to give DNA samples and fingerprints everytime u do anything, like withdraw your own money from the bank....they're impossible to fake, right...? no.....

First-day-on-the-job dev: I accidentally nuked production database, was instantly fired

Jake Maverick

I have trouble believing this really happened....then again people on this planet really are that stupid! Presuming it is true certainly not the new guy's fault....surely, I would have though, he's got legal claim for unfair dismissal.....

Even if he did it deliberately and maliciously....it shouldn't have even been possible as that production DB should have been password protected, at the very least.

Microsoft sued by staff traumatized by child sex abuse vids stashed on OneDrive accounts

Jake Maverick

it's not really encrypted- they have backdoors into everything, fact that they tell u it's encrypted is a con.....:-(

Jake Maverick

I do have sympathy for them in this case...but i been telling people for over twenty years that employees of these comapnies have access to all your private, personal communications....and that is illegal? it most certainly is a crime....I'm all for prosecuting child abusers and rapists...but point remains there is no rule of law, and these aren't even G-men who have these 'god like' powers....

'Sorry, I've forgotten my decryption password' is contempt of court, pal – US appeal judges

Jake Maverick

In the UK it is also considered perfectly legal to gaol a man/ women indefinately if they refuse to help pigyobs 'gang rape' his own wife for example, by decrypting said file of him buttfucking hiw own wife, or somebody else's wife for that matter....slavery was also perfectly legal, as was the holocaust and the chipping of dogs and cats that lead to cancers and other medical problems....:-(

Jake Maverick

i'm scared of mice....but humans are just plane sick :-( nasty, nasty people....:-(

I was authorized to trash my employer's network, sysadmin tells court

Jake Maverick

sounds like a proper hero to me....

but what i dnt get...the fired employee.....why and how on earth would he geta share of the profits simply because he was the first employee? that makes no sense to me...surely the first employee would be the owner/s anyway.....? i.e. employed by themselves...

'Hey, Homeland Security. Don't you dare demand Twitter, Facebook passwords at the border'

Jake Maverick

and what do you think is going to happen to you when you don't even have such accounts...and therefore unable to comply anyway? i've lost out on jobs because i don't have a facebook account for example......

and it's the same with hotels....I can't use hotels because of the ID requirements....and when g-men know where you are sleeping it's not safe to sleep there anymore....+ there's the matter when they know you're not at home they can break in steal vandalise install cameras etc in your home a lot easier...this was legalised under RIPA 2001 but common practice years before that....there is no rule of law.

'At least I can walk away with my dignity' – Streetmap founder after Google lawsuit loss

Scottish court issues damages to couple over distress caused by neighbour's use of CCTV

Jake Maverick

Re: CCTV coverage, where is the line drawn?

well, regardless criminal damage, driving like a lunatic, endangering life/ manslaughter/ murder by depraved indifference...all these things are prosecutable offences...they just choose not to prosecute, which is the problem :-(
