I am personally a pro WD-HDDs & Samsung-SSDs guy but I find quite some dishonesty about seagate here from backblaze and then same from AlReg too... either of both should have notified that DX series of Seagate in this chart are also reliable. To add my part... The track-zero aka circumference of platter should be as large as possible inline to bigfoot concept, the spindle portion i.e. inner most track should also as large as possible. may the spindle axle remain same in diameter but the writable data be denied to several inner most tracks. .. say last/inner most track circumference should NOT be lesser than 30% of trackzero circumference. this will avoid the crawl speed reading of data from inner most tracks where spindle is rotating still no matter at 15k. Inner most 30% area of platter (think platter circumference) should be plastic not even metal to keep those shut asking about its wastage. or there should be a firmware unlock feature only those stupid will enable for themselves.

Also there should be a firmware based hdd defragger. the world has suffered enough damage at hands of OS based defraggers and their fancies. a firmware based hdd defragger should intelligently keep moving the hottest data towards trackzero aka outermost track/ring.

The thing is phone makers should start adopting moralities than wait sitting pregnant with hope of project ara delivery. for example in my country it takes approx $5 to unsolder and solder a replacement component on motherboard from another phone. now most people are ok to spend this much but phone makers are deliberately changing dimensions of front and back camera module inside so it could not be connected even through soldering means. Does anyone remember the AMD's MegaHertzigovinia (MegaHz-igovinia) video pun to Intel too ... anyone share an article on secret enslavement agreement where by AMD is bound to keep its SSE throttled behind Intel's SSE or was it related to floating point calculation throttling !?! ... anyway it is the true face of AMD and just an Intel's Decoy to keep anti-competitive monitoring courts shut up .. saying look we have shared the patents satisfying FRAND clauses and camera focuses AMD in court's corner where It's eating something from floor with diaper all filled with pee and feces .. looking toward Intel with all the gratitude to let it live no matter on these breadcrumbs.

I am personally an AMD Fanatic but AMD's lately Apple like reasoning have made me so disappointed, like ... Intel-like-Quadsicore approach is not an "Angelic" approach (recently Intel has spoken out on record that it was near impossible for AMD to solder two X2 like Intel beacuse of integrated HyperTransport etc) ... then AMD's stance that Phenom is also not an Angelic-way to empower notebook. I usyually say AMD has developed taste for eating bread crums from the floor. and perhaps Intel-AMD's 1999 secret agrement is hint/factor of why SSE4a lags SSE4.1 hence keeping AMD walking leaning-head behind Intel and still thrusting ancient 4000+ X2 bases notebooks on Enthusiasts, this also confirmed their TDP charm is broken and was a myth. Intel has silently opened a new front in notebooks and AMD is still not getting out of Angel-ic/Apple-ic phobia. Rememebr when AMD had upper hand in Opetron Vs Xeon they put a patetion (Opteron Xeon Duel) on thier site for fans to sign in convincing Intel to show up with its Xeon to get humiliated infront of whole world and the Flash video on amd.com did just that, now when the tables are turned Intel has not posted such patetion thing to call for it fans join the AMD-humiliation competition. I think we should abandon fanfare and become wise-customers thinking from brain not heart.

Pakistan's Mobilink (i.e. Nation's largest telecom with approx 40million customers) has long been providing this Service/VAS as MobiCash. The ppl commenting here in forums think that just because its in third world it just has to be a flop or fated for flop .. where as they should know that...

1. Pakistan govt has implemented legal binding that such telco must own a legally recognizable bank. Here Mobilink owns WaseelaBank.

2. Computing is not done over normal servers but specially design, procured and hardened for.

3. The SMS is not everything ... u pay cash to any shop may it be MobiCash's franchised tuckshop, grocery shop etc, pay there the cash, a receipt is given then and there, there is no creditcard/debitcard involved to debate safety... the code is generated and the collector anywhere in Pakistan can go to nearby MobiCash's franchise tell/show the code and National ID card that franchise pays the cash. upto 30,000pkr is daily limit and Mobilink is providing it for years.

I have just given the bird's eye view ... there are more layers to it for example i forgot to tell .. all the SIMs have been tightly binded with biomatrically verified customers in a recent nation wide massive project.

Pakistan's Mobilink (i.e. Nation's largest telecom with approx 40million customers) has long been providing a Service/VAS in which every drop call is refunded with 1minute and is notified via SMS to customer about the dropped call and refund given!. This is not only very ingenuitive of Mobilink but also very unique as none of the other 4 telcos (telenor,ufone,zong,warid) have been able to implement this yet...
