I'm not a fan of increased generic mass surveillance but to be honest I could accept increased levels of physical searches on or near transportation hubs if it meant less chance of being killed.

NO!!! DO NOT LOSE THE LOWER LIMITS
I have wireless at home and at work. I am not a mindless facebook pavement drone, shuffling forward zombie-like as I injest the latest utter drivel. My monthly data usage is never more than 200Mb, even with 4G activated.
I want the lower limit, it gives me a nice cheap monthly tariff.
Flying Scotsman attacked by drone
It may not be dangerous.
But it is another symptom of the modern "it's my right to be an annoying cunt" disease.
Yep, it sure is, but can it also be my right to smash your fucking irritating drone out of the sky? In fact now we're going how about extending to this to having the right to ram those fucking annoying droning little bastard cunting 16 year old moped riders off the road also. They're the same, just annoying little noisy buzzing things that need to be squashed.

Re: What is the obsession
@Lusty -regarding this: "Using the local control the house would be cold when I got home and take several hours to properly warm through (yes, the air does get to 20 degrees in under an hour, but the rest of my possessions remain cold)."
I think what you need to spend money on is not smart timers and all that bollocks but some insulation for your house as my house can get from 13 to 19 in about 20 minutes. And I don't quite understand your possessions comment. Why do they need to be "warm"?

Re: What about battery life
@hairy As the post below indicates, your car is very likely not the only model that would come across problems. It's something I have wondered - what do all these frankly pointless "innovations" like headlights that stay on for minutes on end after you lock up really do for your battery life. I had wondered if new cars had more heavy duty batteries to compensate. And it's something I will have to ponder this year as I will have to upgrade to something new this year.
Re: What about battery life
"If the car is not used for at least three days then connect a maintenance charger to maintain the battery"
Well that's fucking bollocks then. What the buggering fuck do they expect people parking in long-term airport car parks are going to do?
Fuck modern cars frankly.

From insecure blokes but it has been my experience that the truism that women usually have to work twice as hard to be seen as even half as good is still alive and well out there.
"As a result, the researchers suggest that overall, the women contributing code to GitHub are more competent than their male counterparts,.... Despite this, the researchers also conclude that women are still seen as less competent than men "

I've been through redundancy twice. And every time I think what exactly am I being consulted about.
Get rid of all the fucking wretched management BOLLOCKS. You are not consulting me as I have no choice in this, staff forums are pointless and we are not on a journey together you utter waste of humanity.
Just be HONEST. You want to get rid of x% of staff. It'd be easier if some went voluntarily but at the end of the day you will be sacking that x%, yes, let's call it what it is.

Re: Will Wileyfox sales increase ...
I have a Swift and I absolutely love it. No bloatware. Enough resources to run Galaxy On Fire 2, which is the most graphic and processor intensive app I have.
CyanogenOS comes with enough customisation built in so that I don't really need to root. PrivacyGuard is superb - it covers ALL apps including Google.
