This is the equivalent of any time I shop (in person) in any EU country, that shop has to tax me not at the rate of where that shop resides, but where I will eventually return the goods to (at my home residence VAT rate)

This has to be against the idea of a VAT being paid in one state (of sale) being 'the' rate. Logically VAT has to be based on where the goods are "supplied from" (not where the money goes/comes from).

There is a Gotcha to the VIP list

The invitation for the VIP list, is sent to the email address that you entered 'for notification' that the APP was available.

now the Gotcha...

In the invitation, it states that you can use the APP now

- but 'only' with the email address that the invitation was sent to. Duh ?

Who would have (automatically) used their BBM email-like ID for this ?

It never said you should use that one.

and I bet there are plenty of people who use a different BBM ID to their regular even current email address, many may have used a work address to be notified at.

SO for some,

the invitation may be useless unless they wish to change or add a new BBM ID.
