Radio

..I thought the reason the 3G had a solid back, and the 2G had a part-plastic rear was because of the radio antenna? Ie solid metal not being that condusive to radio signals?

My vote goes to "fake"!

That elephant again...

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

There's too many people! Less people = less CO2. Simple.

There are ways (simple, ethical ones ways too) to gradually reduce population and therefore CO2 output without:

a) destroying the economy

b) introducing Soylent green to the Supermarket shelves

Speaking of which - watch that timebomb called "India"...they're still firing out kids like it's the dark ages, but they've got the survival rates of the 1950's...pity the food, power and water supplies have remained static, and now they're suffering more from overcrowding, pollution, preventable flood & landslides, malnutrition and disease...

Cue Fanboi bun fight!

..you know it coming don't you...Pro Apple on one side, anti-mac on the other, and Pro-linux sitting on the side lines, and out the fight altogether because they can't get their X11 to run and they've forgotten the obscure command line to set screen settings for xconf.

Flame on! It'll at least give me something to read this afternoon after the pub lunch...

The clue meter is reading zero...maybe the manfrommars has been sucking the rarified atmosphere too long?

Plus! for XP

Can't be any worse than this pile of c**p; a few skins for media player, a few desktops and a demo-only fishy screensaver?

Boy, you MS fanboys got fleeced, and Ultimate is just Plus! version 2; fleece harder.

Speaking of which, I've tried installing Vista Ultimate 64. Blue-screens on loading the network driver first install (but ok on the 2nd?), and blue screened enabling SLI the next.

Unsurprisingly enough, there hasn't been a 3rd attempt, and no motivation to do so. Luckily I'm a MAC user, and technet subscriber, so the pain of forking out £300 for a worthless DVD and a lost weekend has passed me by, but I dread to think how royally p*ssed off I would have been if it was my own money, and it was my critical PC.
