Don't flip your lid: The Internet of Helmets has arrived
I work in the hottest of environments, North Queensland and the NT, and often out in the sun 40-55c
This is another case of some bas@#$d sitting in an air conditined office cost cutting,
letting the company get you off site so you don't cost them money.
A better solution would be to redesign the helmet with better air flow , may be a fan.

Saudis go ape, detain Swedish monkeys at border
Well, that is where a lot of that energy is going - desalination.
The oil will run out, but so will the water from the natural aquifers. And when the oil runs out, those desalination plants will grind to a halt. It's not like they are transitioning to solar power for them to work. How much would that cost? To design? Build? Run?
cost?
well Solar de sal is more cost intensive than other forms, for the first 5-6 years then its almost freeeeee after that
To design?
already been designed,
Build?

IMaps only cover walled garden
With Apples walled garden their would be limitations on were you could go,
amagin jail braking your icar, you could install google maps and discover places out side the usa,
lots of people crashing into the wall trying to escape, incompatable hardware could be any road not certified with an apple ID.
with cars talking to each other being the up and coming thing , apple would do it differently from everybody else , effectivitly isolating these icars making the invisible ( untill they hit you)
Google boffins PROVE security warnings don't ... LOOK! A funny cat!

Oz telco results season! Telstra booms, Optus slides
customer service not required

We have a new moto for telstra, well knowen to any one who deals with their service dapt "TELSTRA LIES" , its allways a fault at your end, even when you can see the optic fiber hanging out of the back hoe bucket from the window.
We hate them but if you want even shitty coverage you have to have them.
