>>On YouTube, presumably because I've looked at the odd video concerning the American election result
Trump campaign ads have been top of my (mobile) YouTube homepage for the last months. Annoying and unremovable. Hopefully they will now go back to the level of hell whence they came.
Ahh.
A decade on and it's still NuLabour's fault.
It's always someone else's fault with you guys, isn't it.
In another 10 years it will still be Jeremy Corbyn's fault. Or the Leave campaign. Or the hordes of Turks. Or the Communist students. Or poor people. Or ...
(Also, I'm surprised there is no link posted to an appropriate Tim Worstall article. Maybe the one about there being no such thing as Tory austerity and you've never had it so good?)
codejunky> To be fair we had a previous government who's stupid mistake of thinking increasing any costs would always improve the outcome. In the business world they would have been bankrupt in no time.
Are you referring to Theresa May's Government or David Cameron's two governments?
codejunk> Covid bailout for the Eurozone
The UK was granted an exemption from any Eurozone bailouts, It's one of the minor concessions won by Hameron. Any bailout money the UK pays in future will be from the IMF which, and I'm willing to be corrected, the UK is still a member of. Which is deliciously ironic.
Will we still have to put up with Brexitists posting their lies after 31/12/20?
macjules>blasted connection did not keep changing from Orange FR to Free to SFR and to Bouygues every few minutes.
Don't exaggerate. No one ever gets a Bouygues signal.
I have to say I don't recognise this portrayal of French connection. I have rock solid 4G and DSL at home and work. Fibre available but feel no need to pay for it. And my phone is almost never on WiFi. (And if it is I use FON which is free with the DSL/4G bundle.)
The only time I had an issue was when I got my first Xiaomi (Redmi 3 Pro) and it was a proper grey import one without all the EU 4G bands supported.

You really need to broaden your sources and stop continually linking to Tim Worstall articles. Or are you just his Mini-Tim ?
Charles 9> and any source you cite will be guaranteed to be denied by someone else,
Given the 1st half-dozen Google.co.uk search returns all came back agreeing, I didn't think it needed citations. I did double-check in my trusty copy of The Economist Style Guide just in case there was some creative writing reason. But nah. that agreed too: Apostrophe before, not after decades. And not for plurals either.
But then I'm not an arts & humanities graduate and only went to a state school. So virtually self taught on the language side. So what do I know. I'll leave it to the experts.
