Lokking like Ms Sturgeon (a brilliantly apt name if you've ever seen the fugly fish) is bad enough. Sounding like her as well would be fecking awful!

University challenged...

My university meals were a model of capitalist enterprise. I'd cook goulash, spag bol or chilli - enough for around 8 people at least. Then have 5 mates round for dinner, charge them £1 each for the nosh which cost about £4-5 and eat for free. Following day I'd eat the leftovers, then start again. Always had a queue of folk asking when I was cooking again and I hardly ever paid for any of my own food. The key was huge portions and hand out free beer (made my own lager as well - 75p a 750ml bottle, sold about 1/2 the 50 bottles on a £5 batch, had a batch ready every week).

I came out of uni with more money than I started with...

Re: laws are necessary in a free society

Thats bollocks, I went to College with a very, very good session guitarist, used to do gigs with big name bands etc, made sod all money from it. Made enough to live in a squalid flat & keep playing instead of getting a 9-5 job. He was happy to do so & enjoyed his life. But don't make out that music copying made him poor...the internet didn't exist back then.

Can't all follow the herd.

Hmmm, just bought a Galaxy Note to replace my Playbook....wife has an iPad 2, why pick the Android version? I preferred the interface, preferred the inclusion of expansion via MicroSd, hate ITunes with a passion and the supposedly "awful" android ICS was a breeze to use. Played about with it for an hour or so in John Lewis before plonking down the cash.

My son loves the Playbook, so he's happy. My wife loves her iPad so she's happy (uses a lot of specific apps for her work) and I have a new shiny toy that's just what I was looking for, so I'm happy.
