I had the 8110 but traded in for a 7110 - the spring release made all the difference!

This morning I had the dubious pleasures of the Arriva Trains Wales service between Manchester and Cardiff. The Allowance was 20MB and lasted a whole 5 minutes! After that the connection was so poor that I just gave up - so much for enabling a mobile workforce!
Should have sold when M$ came knocking on his door
If they do come up with a plan...
... I wish them the best of luck trying to find contractors willing to sit within IR35 whilst they deliver it all.
Of course they might just send it all to Capita and Atos, and we know what a top job they will make of it!
Re: If BT can lower their prices........
Yep, an acquaintance of mine moved on to a new build estate in May and still don't have a phone line and neither do any of the other homes on the site - lack of capacity in the local exchange is apparently the issue, with no plans to upgrade. Worrying as at least another 200+ new homes being built around here!
I thought that was a porn site?!
So that's a ticket to Mars or a small 2 bedroom flat in a crap part of London. I know which I'd go for!
Re: Battery Burn
I'm using a Pixl XL and also noticed the sudden drop in battery performance (albeit not as bad as that), but no increase in mobile data using.
Shoddy work Google, shoddy!!
That's the best headline you could come up with?
"E-vibe trial reaches climax"
"users finally get satisfaction"
Re: Robert Downey Jr.
Everyone knows that Robert Downey Jr. is Elon Musk - have you not seen Iron Man?
He's not using a "made in the US of A" iPhone??
iPhone 7 Black Ops....
...so good at hiding that no one can get there mits on one.
If the Openreach arm of the business was taken back into public ownership (i.e. a public service) then no, it won't have shareholders.
I don't mind a monopoly as long as it delivers what it promises - the problem is that they are stripping out profit to give to the shareholders; not ploughing monies back into the national infrastructure in a way we would all like.
Re: "Offshore" data storage
What do you mean "outside of NSA control" ? Even if the DC was in international waters the NSA would be all over it like a rash.
Re: Haven't they heard
It would also be ideal for growing an artificial reef on (cold water corals, like we get here in the UK), although I would stick it a bit deeper; 30m would be optimal.
"UK Digital Strategy”
One can only hope it will start with wrestling the national telecommunications infrastructure from the hands of BT.
Can somebody clarify....
Am I right in thinking that there are currently no Apple data centres in the EU, and if so all the personal data of the fanboi crowd (names, credit cards, etc) are happily, and legally as it's in the USA, in the mits of the NSA?
Never judge a story by it's title....
Bugger - there was me hoping for a breakdown on the latest trends in European skin flicks and how they have improved with the influx of East European "actresses"

So how does this differ from the Patriot act and why have Apple et al not been kicking up a fuss for the last few years??
Obvious really, it's due to outsourcing to CAPITA aka the Coruscant Armed Protection and Intra-galactic Transport Alliance
Been around since Mr Scott and the rest of the crew came back and saved the whales. Of course they now call it Aluminium oxynitride and make bullet proof things out of it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_oxynitride
Then was the days...
They had one of these at the SU bar when I was a uni - spent many a happy hour blasting away at it when I wasn't drunk, playing rugby or chasing girls. *deep sigh of nostalgia*
Ada Lovelace day and No Bra Day coincide, did she invent the bra too or maybe was she the first to burn one (if they were arround at that point)??
generally its not a bad comparison between the two, albeit the upcoming EU Data Protection Directive could shake stuff up a bit - if anything more teeth are given. I particularly like the fine structure for global enterprises - €100 000 000 or 5% of global turnover (that's turnover, not profits).
Guessing this is part of the thesis - in which case he's now a Doctor!
ohhh that's how you get badges!
Apple have thought of it earlier, whatever it might be, and regardless of the date of posting the patent application.
Apple legal division.
The kid has spent hours cyber-flirting with the stunning 20something cheerleader stood to his left.... but then he removed his headset...
Nice to see...

Re: @ 1980s_coder
Actually it might - it's a Sony product so should be Playstation Now compatible.
Where's the pipe
How are we ever supposed to take the SPB seriously if there is no pipe to qualify your boffinesque postings?!
pah, bedamned, etc. time to go and score myself some Erinmoor
I like my water to be processed too - generally it needs to be boiled with malted barley and hops, then (when cooled a bit) some yeast added and left for several weeks.
You're forgetting the press release was for the American market...
Quote of the year?!
"..minimum requirements that were a little bit deceiving..."
Lies, damn lies and Microsoft technical briefings
Time is an illusion...

Well somebody had to say it.
"inds their partner doing some Exorcist style head rotation staring at them up at them whilst bent over"
Ahh you've met my ex then...
So with the AR version you could use scanned images of your favourite celeb, co-worker, etc. and then overlay onto your partner (who presumably is doing something similar) or "real feel doll".
*starts downloading images of Taylor Swift*
