Tesla fires gigafactory staff after someone made the mistake of mentioning unions

Slef

Re: Understandable

Yep why bother with unions! 5 day working week, paid holiday, not being killed at work, health coverage, weekens, universal suffrage....its a bit like what did trhe Romans ever do for us? Sewerage, fresh water, roads etc

No, I will not pay the bill. Why? Because we pay you to fix things, not break them

Re: ta ta Liz

"epitome of class" yep that sums it up. Born of a different class and although I had nothing against her personally, the institution is there to keep us plebs in our place! Now we have a head of State who is unelected and has interfered in legislation; getting exemptions from basic laws such as equal rights laws do not apply to the royal family and many other property based legislation. He is also given two poached eggs every morning and picks one to eat and the other one is wasted!

I am a republican (not the sort you get over the pond) but somebody who thinks that inherited titles are just plain wrong and that the time for the monarchy has gone. (and I have never forgiven them for stealing our common land all them years ago)

Capita cost-cutting on NHS England contract 'put patients at risk' – spending watchdog

Slef

But the starting point is "private is good Public is bad" rather than What is actually needed and accept that sometimes companies put in unsustainably low bids just to get the contract and then try to cut staff costs (exept for the top managers) to a point where it is undeliverable and then who picks up the bill? think stagecoach and virgin in the railway setting or carillion!

Amazon, LG Electronics turned my vape into an exploding bomb, says burned bloke in lawsuit

Slef

Re: 200W ???!!!

Quite a lot of the heavy end of teh battery pack market at the more extreme end use 3 or more 18650 batteries which can deliver over 200 watts. Me I am quite happy with my vape that uses one battery and allows me to vape mouth to lung which is similar to fags, whilst the sub ohm beasts tend to be direct to lung jobbies. It is now 4 yrs 10 months and 21 days since I had a fag and the better half and the sprogs will most probably say it is the best thing I have ever done to give up the fags...Oh and unlike the opinionated anonymous twat above I do not have to hide behind facelessness.

JEEZ, Is this a post from a reconstituted Senator McCarthy? Red tape is communist but it is OK for a bunch of immoral bankers to screw over ordinary people is OK or chemical companies to poison people or car manufacturers to kill people with badly designed cars.

Perhaps the anonymous coward should grow a set of balls and buy a dictionary and find out what socialism actually is rather than copy and paste from Pai's arse cheeks.

Re: PwC
