PC World's cloudy backup failed when exposed to ransomware

FAIL

Tthose who forget history are doomed to repeat it

Back in the late '80 there was a trojan horse virus called " PC Cyborg Trojan". This encrypted your hard disk, but nothing was visible for 90 reboots of your PC. Then an ransom would appear asking for $189 to be sent to a PO Box, you would then be sent then unlock code for your PC.

New Scientist confirms Japanese government are stupid

"In the 10 days it burned, Chernobyl put out 1.76 × 1018 becquerels of iodine-131, which amounts to only 50 per cent more per day than has been calculated for Fukushima Daiichi." So Chernobly was worse so far than Fukushima by about 50% so far (and is for iodine which has a half life of 8 days)

So far so good

now to the caesium-137 "The Sacramento readings suggest it has emitted 5 × 1015 becquerels of caesium-137 per day; Chernobyl put out 8.5 × 1016 in total – around 70 per cent more per day."

So it's less for the Iodine and left for the ceasium, so Less must equal the same!

This will cause problems for the Gov's stats

since, if you come into the country it is counted by family units (no matter how many are in the family they are counted as 1 unit), however when they leave the country they are counted as individuals. Thus a family of 4 are counted as 1 on the way in and 4 on the way out
