Decode the human genome
It would be interesting to put the human genome through this, turn it into binary and see if it came up with 42.

I see from your postings you've not been here long.
amanfromMars is a "special" person in that he's let out into the community occasionally.
Click on his name in his posts to be awed by his pearls of wisdom.
Agree Topographic Oceans was shit.
I actually like some Yes tracks..
And you and I
Awaken (the one track that sums Yes up)
My brother has everything they've ever recorded in all formats and all the bootlegs plus some studio master tapes. Amazing quality.
He needs to get out more.
My brother and I used to go to pubs with a decent jukebox and look for...
Stairway to heaven.
And if we were lucky - Echoes.
Maximum minutes for your buck (actually it was 50p)
Feel free to add the long track of your choice.
Anyway Devil's horn to the dudes.
I'm not far behind them.
If you can't take it with you then I'm not going.
Live streams are available http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/indiv.asp
You just copy the link and open them in your media player of choice.
Works abroad (outside UK) too if you select the right feeds.
Saves having your browser open all the time.
ALL tv shows are available to watch afterwards if you know where to look (no links sorry).
Previous to this post (@01:45Z) a lot of people have been complaining about ads, tracking, etc.
One would assume that because they are posting on El Reg that they would know about these things.
Apparently not so.
Don't want to see ads - use an adblocker.
Don't want to be tracked - delete cookies after your session.
Don't want to be tracked - don't use Google.
Use an anonymizer search instead such as DuckDuckGo or Startpage.
If you have to use Facebook then good luck to you. You are there to be milked.
It's the internet. You have as much control as the websites.
Some years ago, in a previous employment, I had contact with the (then) Home Office Radio Regulatory Department in Whitehall.
On one occasion I went to their facility in Honeypot Lane, Stanmore.
I asked of my contact "Aren't they TV detector vans?" Pointing to the grey Commer/Bedford vehicles.
He sniggered and said go and look inside.
There was a seat in the back just under the "DF loop" aerial on the roof so that you could reach the handle to turn it.
There was nothing else in there.
He confirmed there never had been in any of them (and this was part of his job).
This packet sniffing is complete rubbish. Just hide your SSID if you're paranoid/careful.
RIP Ian (my contact)
