Maybe I'm stupid
How das screenheight 768pixel and maxcardheight 740 pixel hint for a netbooks with 600pixel?

epic fail when Apple introduced it without any support for standard hardware like serial mice, PS/2 keyboards, parallel printers and so on. Did it ever catch up?
They even left out a floppydisk drive!
Written on a HP Vectra 286, copied to a 5,25" Floppy and mailed to my Internetprovider.
more like a trojan, the file is downloaded and finder unzips it, then it asks if it shall be installed.
First question, did I download it myself? No!
Second question, should I answer yes? NO!
Easy to avoid, isn't it? Windows, Linux or OS X, some common sense should be applied.
I still shoot rangefinders with film and mostly with a 35mm lens.
When I want to shoot machine gun style, I have access to Canon 1D bodies, but even my slow 5D is enough for what I want to take pictures of.
This beast ist what I longed for, OK, exchangeable lenses would be a boon. But I happily trade a very good fixed 63° f2 lens for a very reasonable viewfinder and controls I can set without taking the camera from my eye.
The price is high, but where do I get a digital camera which handles like my trusty M2 for less than that?
That would be BSD license, but only as long as you don't like to rip out others copyright notices :)
I ran a whole bunch of software on HP-3000 and 9000 systems in the 90s which I had in source, one application is still running on a SCO OpenServer V 5.0.4 virtual machine at this moment.
Porting from MPE to HP-UX and to SCO or even Linux or BSD was part of the contract, as was adapting the software to our needs.
That's open source, at least to the customer.
It's not Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) like GNU or BSD et.al.
Still waiting for The significantly netter and cheaper offering. With the Xoom you can use flas when it's ready, 4g after an upgrade and the microSD card when google is ready.
I'm in the lucky position to use my Android mobile as a WiFi hotspot, so no need to shell out money for another contract and hardware.
Let's wait another few month for an Android Tablet to match an iPad.
You don't have to have the bandwidth and CC Payment and stuff.
But this is totally different for a company which has all this in place.
If I'd use an eBay Store or Amazon to sell my stuff, I'd have to share my revenue with them, which would be fine compared to the cost I'd have for setting up my own store.
Amazon, eBay, Sony et.al. do have all that in place and probably much cheaper than I could get it, certainly cheaper than 30%.
On the other hand, can you buy Sony content from Amazon on a B&N Nook?
"Full Frame" as used by DSLR users relates to 24x36mm on 35mm film, medium format is anything from 4x4cm to 6x9 or even 6x17mm in a Baby Rolleiflex or with a Rollex Cassette on a Lienhof 617 technical camera.
Next thing is rating a 55mm on a 6x4.5 as a 35mm small format lens?
Beer, since these discussions usually go better with a couple pints :-)
My Asus 901 was too small for many things and I still needed a real notebook.
Gave the netbook to my nephew and use a tablet where a phone is too small and a notebook not needed.
E-Mail, contacts and calendar mostly with some games and an occasional video thrown in for good measure.
It even works fine with the files from my DSLR, one with a big sensor and huge files btw.
