Is it going to be 4.7 inches? HTC, Samsung, LG, and Sony are all such copycats of apple for making phones with the screen size apple had planned for late 2013

That is hardware based. I have an S4 krait processor in my NA One X and can play music all day long. Not to mention play 18 holes of golf to find out my battery was at 98% at the 19th hole. My iphone playing partners jaw hit the floor.

but sure, a Japanese or american car, which would you pick? . Apple seems to be strikingly similar to GM of the late 90's in their (no matter what we make the customers will buy it in droves) attitude. I'll take Japanese quality and control any day. And for the record Im still on my original PS3, and 5th xbox. The iphone has barely changed since 2007 and sells like hotcakes. Doesnt exactly represent an intelligent purchase.

Are you kidding me ? I would NEVER consider a trackpad that requires two fingers an UPGRADE. In the world of body mechanics, using MORE energy and akwardness to accomplish a task is not better just because it is different. I will take a PC trackpad with the side page scroll incorporated into the trackpad any day over apples iteration. Unless of course carpal tunnel is your flavour.

My 3 yeard old gateway FX has a 1980 x 1200 led screen, full keyboard with number pad, 2 Hard drive bays ALA 1TB (upgraded) and a 1GB 9800GTS nvidia card (top shelf at the time) with hdmi/vga out for additional monitor support. Oh did I mention it was 799 Canadian THEN ? Trackpads are a frustration which is why I always carry a wireless mouse with nano dongle, and a belkin 7 port usb hub in my Laptop bag to address the other issues you mentioned. To sum it up The article is a bla.ket statement making it ultimately false.
