Testify on that. South Bucks public transport is atrocious. Marlow to Reading (15 miles) takes at least an hour, either by bus or by rail. Instead, people clog up the roads with endless jams for hours. One advantage these cars have over most of the local traffic is they're about 1/4 the size of the average vehicle here.
I'm still at a loss for a use case when I seem to get ~9Mbit on 3G.
I guess... for gaming, or swapping large multimedia files - postproduction maybe? Keeping Debian distributions up to date?
Can't think of many other applications.I can stream HD-quality Netflix films on my Three account, and there's no official fair usage cap.

And yes, modern Doctor Who is a self-parodying, CGI heavy, cynical shadow of its former, viewer-imagination-employing self. I'd rather have solid acting and wobbly sets than vice versa.
Assuming that time travel is impossible now, doesn't automatically necessitate that it won't be possible to travel backwards in time from some point in the far future to a point in nearer future. Or that we might be able to travel into the future only, at some speed faster than 60 seconds per minute.
