I encountered a tech site about a fortnight ago, it possibly had a solution for a problem I was trying to solve. It picked up I had adblock, and with no warning asking me to disable adblock banned our IP (so no one else at work could access the site without getting the same banned because you have adblock message)

But given they had their biggest launch (13 million units in 3 days) I don't think we can call it a legacy device.

If the batteries have any charge left in them, it would probably be a good idea for the facility to do a discharge first as batteries still don't like constantly being charged from partly empty. Which means your cycling will probably take longer for a battery that isn't completely discharged.

no more like they got pissed off with Hamas firing hundreds of rockets at their civilians in the past couple of weeks.

In Sderot civilians have 15 seconds from the IDF radar picking up Hamas rockets and sounding a warning before the rockets hit. In the week befor eIsreal took out Jabari they had fired over a hundred into Sderot.

They're light, comfortable and most importantly as the nothing sitting between your ear and your head you can wear big headsets.

Of course mine are getting old now and I can't afford to replace the damn things.

My Acer Iconia A500 has a full size USB port on the tablet. Chuck a Logitech Unifying receiver into it and you can use a mouse and a keyboard at the same time.

depends on the power usage of the keyboard.

I've been using a Logitech keyboard for over a year, and still on the original batteries which are still sitting at over 50%. (Logitech also a solar powered keyboard which doesn't need to have the users replacing batteries ...never used it so can't comment).

I must admit though that my wife's Microsoft mouse goes through batteries a heck of a lot faster than my Logitech mouse does.

I take it you never used any old PDA's?

Windows Mobile devices all they way up to 6.5 used to do that. if you let the back-up battery go flat it would reset to factory defaults. (some had a place to store a back-up of your contacts so it could restore them after the reset).

As I recall at the Australian Olympics they ran out of condoms at the Olympic Village, I think it already is... unofficially.

Indeed.

I've never used Metro, but I have an Acer Iconia A500 (which one day will get ICS.....hopefully before the end of the century) and at work we've just got a couple of Samsung Slates running Windows 7 (http://www.samsung.com/nz/consumer/pc-peripherals/notebook-pc/ultra-portable/XE700T1A-A01AU-features). And Windows 7 is definitely not all that finger friendly in comparison.

You have to use the stylus a fair amount, rather than your fingers (which was always the old complaint about WinMo.....I miss my old WinMo phones but Android easier to use as you don't have to muck about with a stylus.)

(that being said the slate is an impressive little machine and we will be putting Win8 on one at a later stage)

My nieces and their friends generally have 3 sims (Vodafone, Telecom XT and 2 Degrees) because of different packages for texting. They will swap out their sims several times a day.
