I spilt a glass of Carlsberg Special Brew on an IBM Model M keyboard. It never recovered.

Section 230 should be re-written so it forces platforms to allow speech permissible by the constitution. Social media companies then have a choice: editorialise all their content so they can be advertiser friendly or allow free speech and be safe from law suits. Advertisers will then have to choose between large, economically viable free speech platforms or small, expensive carefully monitored platforms.
I don't use EWS but I do use Evolution on CentOS 7 with IMAP and Google Calendar. I must say that the reliability of Evolution has much improved with the upgrades it has received during the lifetime of CentOS 7. If you haven't tried it for a while I recommend taking another look.
Absolutely not. I have been using X11 for a long time. DECwindows, OPEN LOOK, MWM, CDE, Icewm, FVWM, XFCE, KDE, Openbox have all been my main desktop at one time or another. I prefer GNOME Shell to any of the others.
I really liked CDE on Solaris back in the day but both Solaris and Motif dropped off the map for desktop use long ago. GTK3 and GNOME Shell are the best choice as a platform for getting work done.
I use a CentOS7 machine for web development and conducting system administration tasks. I have tried various desktops but GNOME Shell is my favourite by a long distance. I can tweak its looks and behaviour to my liking with minimal effort.
It makes sense to me that Red Hat chooses what they believe to be the best available desktop and focus their efforts on making it work as well as possible. There is nothing to stop people installing alternatives from source as long as they don't expect support from Red Hat.
The Quantum beta has been my goto browser for a little while now. I haven't run any benchmarks but it feels plenty fast on Linux (work) and Windows 10 (home). Only missing one extension - a nice autofill for annoying web sites that won't allow password saving. A nice effort and the compact UI is nice on my widescreen laptop.
I can claim some standing in this area as I live in Japan and own of those washlets. They are awesome and easy to operate once you know the Japanese for "arse" and "stop". It is the only way to feel really clean if you are squeezing out a slow shit the day after eating an extra spicy tantanmen.
Every home should have one.
I wrote my first BASIC on my school's 380Z. There wasn't a chance in hell my parents would buy any sort of computer so it was vital in giving me my first experience of software development. Amazed they are still going but grateful for the opportunity I got via them and The Avenue Comprehensive School (RIP).
If I recall correctly I was connected to a VPN server in France when I signed, despite being physically located in the restaurant at my local health club in Bracknell at the time. No doubt my signature would be on this list as a result.
Should that make my signature any less valid?
Your signature should be invalid because you were sitting at a health club restaurant in Bracknell and connected via a VPN server in France.
Advertising companies are all scum. Lies, deception, psychological manipulation, guilt trips, brainwashing, whatever-it-takes are all acceptable as long as people are conned into buying the shitty products. Of course the people conned into buying the shitty products are the ones really paying for the adverts in the first place.
Don't feel any guilt for blocking this shit. Don't lose any sleep if advertisement funded services go out of business. The world is not a worse place for this.
My VPCEH2P0E upgraded from Windows 7 Home okay. It seemed a bit flaky after the upgrade but perked up nicely after a clean reinstall. I was able to install Sony's Windows 7 ALPS touchpad software. The only downside I can see is that I can no longer control brightness using function keys.
I expect it's problems with the latest MI6 privacy slurping system. All UK mobile companies are rubbish - especially when it comes to customer service.
I have been using au here in Japan for over a year and they are great. Not had a single problem with their super fast LTE network. When the charging port died on my handset they replaced it in a couple of days with a brand new one for a nominal fee.
