No. Because:
Children still can't give consent and paedophilia will never be acceptable enough to legalise.
This is a problem today because people getting a criminal record check for a job could be refused for having a criminal record, or have their employer know they're gay while interviewing, which could harm their chances of recruitment as it's still seen negatively by a portion of the population.
Also the dangerous/slippery road argument is pretty much always a ridiculous hypothetical

You missed the part about most users not even knowing it was going to be forced on them without warning and having them told it wasn't possible to disable it (even though it was at the time).
The WMF went pretty far in trying to stop people from disabling the feature and go back to the old page editor. Too far considering the community keeps Wikipedia running and without one there's no editing or vandal patrols

Good, it was crap...
I was there on the talk page on day 1 advising others how to disable the shitty feature which was automatically switched on for everyone (despite being in Beta and buggy as hell). To use it i had to wait for the slow Javascript to load the page, learn how to edit again, with less features, and then put up with the bugs and massive CPU usage it caused on Firefox. It was unacceptable at every angle.
I then had to undo so many edits by IP editors over 2/3 weeks because the VE injects junk code at the start and end of an article with each edit and breaks links to other articles.
It's the biggest uproar aganst Wikimedia i've seen recently and it united the entire community.
Editors who did like the VE were in the minority and even those i'm sure wouldn't like it becoming normal for the WMF to force Beta software on editors without any choice and deter editing from those who know the ropes.

I'll believe in man-made catastrophic climate change when it can be proven that it is actually man-made and the people who prove it are not either an energy company or paid by one.
Since when did people start believing everything without being shown any proof?

Mostly correct...
You missed out the part where admins are not as necessary as they were since they can't have time to edit with all the beurocratic crap that takes up their time and the fact you can apply for extra permissions without having to become an admin, with the extra work load that entails.
Plus with 4 million articles there's gonna be slower growth as there's less stuff to write about.
Anyone complaining about getting reverted, if there's no citation (proof) in the firm of a reliable source (not daily mail) included with your addition it will quite often be tagged and challenged.

Amazon reviews tell a different story, i never scoured the web, i just checked the one place i would buy from. And i'm glad there is no limited installs although having to use Steam is still a kick in the face for people who just want to pop the disc in and play without being forced to download adware.
Ubisoft i have no knowledge from, except Bioshock, but again i have no knowledge of their DRM restrictions so not really got anything there to add

Stop treating customers like criminals and damaging their gaming enjoyment, while also limiting the amount of installs a game people BUY can have.
I stopped buying PC games years ago for this very reason and it's getting worse.

Kinda, maybe, not so much...
As a Wikipedia editor i don't see the problem with this.
Wikipedia is overly beurocratic for simple things and i expect this is what scares people off from joining.
vandalism edits can be undone simply and quickly, vandal IP addresses blocked easily too and there's also countless bots trawling through recent edits to find vandalism.
If someone adds something to Wikipedia, it's a doddle to source it and keep it or disprove it and remove it in minutes.
