Good luck finding privacy in the constitution. That will probably be next to go.

Help! I bought a domain and ended up with a stranger's PayPal! And I can't give it back

Fortunately he and his wife didn't share names with anyone in my family!

I registered my family name with an s on the end and set up catch-all email. Got a load of spam but one address in particular seemed different. Important stuff like doctors appointments were coming in. Eventually I logged into a shopping website with the email and found a mobile number and sent a tentative message. Turns out the guy had the same domain but with 5 on the end. Every time he wrote it on a form somebody thought it was s, so I just set a forwarding address for him.

Two years ago, 123-Reg and NamesCo decided to register millions of .uk domains for customers without asking them. They just got the renewal reminders...

Re: Network Solutions is better

Org.uk don't normally get them. It depends which was registered first; the org.uk or the co.uk

I made up an Angus Deayton account just to be his friend. It was a few years ago & I'd forgotten about it until I read this...

I have a real account for people I have met in real life (remember that) aka people I met before 1997. & a made up name account for all the people I only know from the 'net. Thanks to BT's spoken txt service I was able to 'verify' my mobi number from a phone box. :D

I found that using the desktop update from IE4 made it just as user friendly as win98.

Apple iPhone 4

Coffee/keyboard

what really makes the the iPhone 4 stand out is its new 'Retina Display'

Really? After 2 years Apple finally have a device that beats an X1. 323dpi vs 311dpi. 4% better! whoop-de-doo. I was thinking about upgrading, but for size of screen (in pixels) compared to size of phone the X1 still beats everything. & it has a (very nice) keyboard.
