Sad reflection on society

Another example of how us adults are failing the kids. So a teacher is so scared of legal action/being accused of assault that they call the cops rather than dealing with it themselves.

Back in my youth, the teacher would have given you a clip around the ear, take the phone from you and if you were lucky get it back at the end of the week. Would I dare tell my parents? No way, i'd get an even bigger hiding from them!

Thats how it was, parents backed the teachers. Nowadays its all changed. Had the teacher have touched the pupil then no doubt some sleazy no-win-no-fee lawyer would be now suing for sexual assault.

Who wins? The lawyers. Who loses? The children

My choice

I'm a self confessed IT geek. I love new gadgets, new software to play with The very target audience M$ should not need to win over.

I've just recently built myself a quad core PC with top end GFX and 4GB RAM. What operating system did I choose to install on my new beasty? XP of course!

All I ever do with my OS nowadays is load Firefox, watch Xvids and play games. Why do I need an operating system which is slower for that? Don't care how pretty it may look or not.

FFS, what a country!

OK, so a guy acts to prevent a crime, gets shot and people say he's stupid? So whats next? See a mugger, walk on by. Let the person get mugged and hope the police catch them? After all, not your problem is it? What next? Expect the police to walk on by too cos they're not armed either?

I'm actually saddened that people can criticise a man who at least was bo***cks enough to stand up to thieves. We should be applauding him not mocking.
