BT Home Hub SIP backdoor blunder blamed for VoIP fraud

I am perhaps showing my ignorance / naivety here, but when I signed up for BT Infinity on my business account, the only choice I got from BT was a Home Hub 3. Is there a business alternative? The HH3 is fairly c..p, but I have yet to find a good replacement. Suggestions welcome.

Oh, I hope not. For this type of project, it has to be a slide rule. I would love to have been present at the Meteor engine test. The sound must have been magnificent - I noted the ear defenders, as well as the fire extinguisher.

Dear AC, I hope that you will not be too offended if I object to your lumping of the Daily Mail and voting UKIP in the same sentence. I am not a Daily Mail reader, but, for my sins, I did vote UKIP at the recent EU election. My reason for doing so is that I believe in a democratically accountable state (naive I know), something that current the European plutocracy is not. I voted "yes" in 1975. That was for a common market and a mutually beneficial alignment of neighbour states. If there ever is another referendum, I will be voting to leave.

No need to lock the doors, Range Rovers do it automatically as soon as you drive away (I gather that it's to stop the unwashed from snatching one's Rolex at traffic lights).

BTW I have neither a RR or a Rolex

No real beef other than the irritating woman and 20,000 layers of options (Ok, I exaggerate)

The few times that I have had reason to contact BT customer support, once you are through to a human I have found the service to be very good (admittedly it is BT Business support). It is that irritating woman and the seemingly never ending layers of options that wind me up.

Me too, I expected that BDXL would be the answer to home backup, but the cost of the media is crazy - and no, I don't trust the cloud, even if my internet connection had the bandwidth to support it.

My wife will love it

Like many good ideas, a blindingly obvious way to go if done well. No need to buy an expensive piece of furniture just to cut holes in to accomodate all of those annoying cables. A lot will depend on the quality of the electronics.

Something's wrong here

When someone making a stupid post on Facebook gets 4 moths in jail whereas drunk drivers that cause accidents which result in injury to people and damage to property get a paltry fine, a driving ban and maybe, if she/he is unlucky, a suspended sentance.

16C still going strong

Still have my HP 16c and it is still in (almost) daily use. Love it. Get really confused if I have to use a "standard" calculator (although that could also have someting to do with my age. I seem to remember that it cost me a small fortune at the time.
