At first I thought the film was just a strange idea, now it seems like the predictions in the film are coming true... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/

That URL is hilarious. Much funnier than the gag everyone is so upset about.

My beautiful face!

"This phenomenon is not unusual with women living in London and the South-East. It can be seen on anyone who has and regularly checks a BlackBerry or iPhone."

Phew, I'll be ok as I have a Sony Ericsson!

Serves her right

May I remind you this is the same woman who oh-so cleverly announced some election postal votes before the end of the election last year through the medium of twitter?

Twittering MP escapes with caution

FAIL

Meh

I'm in her constituency and I really wish she'd lost her seat - she broke the law, and we expect her to represent us and our views in Westminster? Bristol East is such a Labour strong-hold that even if she was hoisted out and there was a local election another Labour candidate would get in, but at least the replacement candidate would have some credibility intact as their misdeeds wouldn't be public yet.

So?

Disney and Universal have both fitted "plus sized" seating on their theme park rides in the past 5 years or so, this isn't that new. They just didn't fit them in HP world from the opening, which given the increasing average size of American waistbands, they probably should have done.

Weeding

Facebook Privacy settings management is like weeding the garden - a job that's not so fun but that you have to do every now and again to stop yourself being overrun with things you don't like. I check them every now and again to see what I've been opted into this time and how I can opt out of it.

This is a useful article, thanks El Reg! I'm not sure a bout the 'People here and now setting though, I can't find it. Must be the Thursday afternoon blondeness striking again....

The passenger

Why haven't the police arrested the passenger for assault? If he smacked the attendant on the head with his bag, surely that's as prosecutable as "criminal mischief" or whatever it was.

I hope he escapes punishment. He doesn't deserve that after the way the passenger treated him.

Who should play Steve Jobs?

Sir Ben Kingsley. A good actor who can ham it up when necessary (don't believe me? Go watch Thunderbirds).

Sir Ben at his hammiest would be a great Stevie J.

Apple iPad

Ooooooh iPad, iPad for yoooooooouuuuuu!

I had a play with one of these a while ago when a Director brought one back from the States. My over-arching opinion was 'Meh'. Sure it looks pretty, but between my phone and my DS Lite I can do almost all the things the i(maxi)Pad offers, apart from look shiny and get greasy finger marks over it. I tink I'll upgrade to a DSi XL and buy myself a PSP with the change, and save myself the hassle of using iTunes anymore than I have to.

WTF?

It's only a state of mind

Does this remind anyone else of Terry Gilliams' film Brazil? One missing (or mis-typed) piece of paper work can result in bailiffs at the door?!
