From Wikipedia : "On January 31, the plane was moved to Kearny, New Jersey. The bird remains were later identified by DNA testing to be Canada geese, which typically weigh more than engines are designed to withstand ingesting."
Design a high-speed macerator which sits in front of the engine and macerates any foreign object to a fine enough composition to allow the debris to pass through the turbine without damage to the turbine?

Customer called me to site once. Their cd-rom drive did not want to eject the CD that was inside.
Upon powering the PC down and using the emergency eject feature with Binky the grumpy papperclip, it soon became apparent why - thr CD-Rom was upside down...
I was an Exchange 2003 admin once, and spam just got a real PITA. Fortunately (or unfortunately?) the system b0rked itself after a power outage, and the company decided to outsource the email to an hosted Exchange.
- somebody else's problem with dealing with spamz0rz and haxx0rz
- somebody else's problem dealing with the DataStore on Exchange
- somebody else's problem dealing with backups
- adding users may take a bit longer
- some issues take longer to address
But in general it is a great deal better as I don't have to waste my time dealing with Exchange and its quirks anymore, and can focus more on other matters.
FWIW Exchange is a good product, and is reliable when set up properly. It went downhill with Exchange 2010 and higher, which is a pity.
Had a Huawei Mediapad T1-701u as primary device. Nice little device.
After getting a Xiaomi Redmi 4A I was glad for a smaller phone as biggenphones always have a problem wrt storage, whether it be in your pocket or wherever.
And yet a Samsung S4 mini trumps both devices wrt single-hand use.
So big is not always better.
