Missing the point?
Is this not about the charges for alleged rape? He did that speech yesterday about ending the witch hunt and all this other pap as Wiki-leaks should be kept free when really the only reason Sweden want him is because he is supposed to have had a 'struggle snuggle' with someone over there. It baffles me how people are so fast to either decide its a US conspiracy to get him out so they can arrest him. Or that if he is so innocent he wont just stand in front of a Swedish court with his head high and say prove it. The speech about the witch hunt and free all the other wiki-leaks founders / employees is irrelevant at this stage. He should just grow a pair or stop shoving it in randoms without their permission.

Can I just say that 116,000 searches for child pornography a day. That's slightly sickening to be honest and is that only in the US? Having the opportunity to view media on the internet is what is making mankind as a collective better in my view not just porn but everything and seeing that stat just makes me feel sick. Wont anyone think of the children?

Does it surprise you? This just like everything else that is related to piracy in work places stems to one thing... Doing things on the cheap. The main reason in my opinion why ICT in the workplace is crud is because it is all done on the cheap if they properly invested everything would be fine.

Microsoft can see that they are going down. So they try as hard as they might to squash and kind of competition by saying "you stole my idea". Surely if patents were infringed in Linux it would be gone quicker then you can say BYE. and seen as android is the same I don't foresee there being any real infringements just the vole using scare tactics.

I have a Nexus One and my one works perfectly. Android is by far the future and will undoubtedly set the stage for future devices and set the stage for the next "big thing" in technology. If you have had a dodgy one then that's too bad however would you never buy a top brand again because of a faulty product one time? As for the forum posts and Google not seeming arsed. Have you ever seen a forum where everyone posts positives? Because I haven't.

Whats with all the films with old actors in?
Shatner isn't the best actor we know this. He is also old. Why make films with old actors in? What is the fixation with flogging dead horses. They could just as easily make a film with the enterprise under a new captain with new foes (or even revamped old ones I.E. the dominion, or even species 8472 and take it to a new level. Why does every film creator feel the need to go back to go forwards? Why not make a film with the Pegasus style ship or just anything... Something new! Yes seeing Spock was great and seeing other actors play the trek characters was refreshing and in some cases fitting to the legacy. But that's what it is a legacy. Lets move forward not back. There is so much they can touch on. Leave time travel and the Borg for now and look on to new variants.
