A jack russell terrier?!
Words fail me on this one.
Quite a day out for that mentalist.

Where did they find those 60 people?!
Who on earth would allow some white-coated gimps to monkey around with the running of their heart!
"Don't worry mate, if your heart stops we'll try to get it going again. Hopefully we won't have broken the pacemaker. Here goes....."
/not even Paris would submit to that
I'd say that the ipod Touch is best for us commuters.
You have it with you anyway to drown out the din of the other passengers and the train, so why not fire up a game to make that train delay go quicker. Beats pulling out a PSP and looking like a 14yr old anyway (or DS and looking like a 7yr old).
I highly recommend Trace, Aurora Feint (incredible time buner), Solitaire City, Galcon, Jellycar, Lux Touch and ESPN Camerman. All free last time i checked.
The only ones i've paid a quid or two on are Dizzy Bee, Topple, Everest:Hidden Expedition and Missile Command. All were well worth the puny asking prices.
My PSP gathers the dust now, though it still is handy for very long journeys, movies look ace on it.
The Crysis Fiasco, and the recent news that my much anticipated Starcraft 2 is to be broken up into 3 games drip-fed to us over the next few years, have turned me completely off PC gaming now.
No more costly graphic card upgrades, no more driver updates, no more control issues, no more hoping that the thing is playable on my rig (recommended specs on the box being no use at all), fuck it all.
I'm done with it.
Much easier to just pick up a joypad and stick a disc in, especially with some of the amazing things in console world at the moment. LittleBigPlanet shits all over Spore from a very very great height.
New Scientist completely lost it years ago. I cancelled my subscription when it was obvious that they were going the way of that Horizon tv programme:
Assume low intelligence of the audience
Patronise
Waste time explaining things over and over again
Sensationalise everything.
I weep for british science and the decline of the countries gray matter.
Let me pick my own team of trusted geeks, give us 5 million each for the work (not including expenses) and we'll have it running for you by next year.
Too many managers and pork-snatchers have forever spoiled the new-NHS broth, time to throw it out and bring some proper chefs in.
The Xbox division spent a whopping 50 million securing Xbox-exclusive DLC for GTA4, that still isn't even out yet (as used copies rapidly make their way into GAME and the like).
Now they've just spent who knows how many millions on securing the same type of thing for the new Tomb Raider game.
What a fuckin waste of cash.
Maternity leave? For temps?
Isn't the point of temps to replace those on maternity leave already, then if that bint gets knocked up the company will be paying out two sets of wages for a woman to do fuck all for the company.
Not gonna endear women in the workplace to employers this one.
Hey, i'm just sayin.
What the eBay sellers are probably failing to note is that the second the game is released a patch goes live that will promptly remove the offending track from the game before you can even boot it up.
Unless you disable PSN functionality every time you play it of course, which means you'll never see any user-created levels, nor be able to publish your own, making the game pretty moot.
MS have lost BILLIONS trying to take on Google
MS have lost BILLIONS trying to take on Sony and Nintendo
MS have lost BILLIONS trying to take on Apple/iTunes/iPod
MS have lost BILLIONS trying to replace an operating system that never needed replacing
If any company needs to learn the value of trying to NOT lose some money occasionally, its them.

720p, yes, wmv format anyway.
1080p, nope, that shitty powerdrawing good-for-nothing intel chipset really has to be ditched ASAP.
If this had even a lowspec graphics chip in it for hardware decoding this would be a no-brainer purchase for many people. I await the next, inevitable as this company is insane, version very soon.
