entire collection...

"unless you want a 5GB throwaway player rather than something you can keep your entire collection on.".........Why do people say hey want there entire collection on a portable device ??? If it takes u an hour to get to work why do u need 500 hours of music with u ?? 99.99% of the stuff on your player will NEVER be listened to.

"This is a truly obsolete and daft product." most of the TV watched in the UK is SD and will be for the foreseeable future.

Flakey scales brand Commonwealth boxers bunch of blobs

Brian 6

Think before u type...

The scales were competition certified as well that's why they were using them.... Anyway no matter how badly calibrated they were they would never show that a lighter object was heavier than a heavier one was. So the boxers WERE WRONG.

Brian 6

Scales were right.

"However, authorities finally backed down and agreed to recalibrate the scales after someone brought in a 50Kg weight from the gym - which delivered a reading of 51.4Kg on the official scales." Yeah cos there is no possible way the gym weight could possibly of weighed 51.4Kg.

I squeeze the phone hard and make sure my palms are sweaty as well. You'd never hold the phone this way because it's physically painful." Do u understand now ? You have to actually be TRYING to loose all bars. Not something u would ever do while making a phone call.

@ AC 10:35 GMT

Well for a start u were not even brave enough to put a name to your bullshit.

"Sorry, but I don't think I'm unusual in having a 22 mile commute (44 miles round trip) with the addition of a few site calls 80-100 mile days are the rule rather than the exception. For those who do the right mileage EVs are a great idea, but the pro EV lobby spend far too much time bullshitting us that they are the solution for everybody."

There are several million people who live a lot closer than 22 miles from their work. None of my colleagues has a 44 mile round trip. Anyway the car is ideally suited to someone like u. Most of your journey to and from work would be on electric power, and your site calls on the IC motor. During your long site call trips the IC motor would be charging the battery as well as powering the car. For the rest of us our journey to work 5 days a week would be all electric and cheap as hell.

Memory

"Our benchmark test results are also rather disappointing, not helped by the limitations of the computer running 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium and the system’s inability to address more than 3GB of the installed 4GB of memory." Samsung NX10

Brian 6

So called Photographers...

"Although this new Samsung is capable of handling massive RAW files (25MB) I could not test the quality of these as the NX10’s RAW files are not yet compatible with Photoshop and Lightroom and shamefully Samsung’s own RAW workflow software is only compatible with Windows and I, like millions of others photographers, use a Mac. Iridient Digital's RAW Developer does allow Mac users access to NX10 RAW files but at a cost of £89" 89 quid is not a lot to pay. I take it your copy of photoshop is pirate then ?. Millions of mac owning photographers ? Not here m8. And lastly pixel density was never the root cause of noise, why do so many twats think it is ?? Thats why small sensor cameras like the finepix F30 leave this for dead at 800 ISO.

But that's me, and I don't live in a country where banks let you do that. Even the mere possibility of some customers having a longer PIN would improve the security for all." Bollocks there are only 10,000 4 digit pins in the world, so thousands of people have the same pin. But that doesn't matter. Its not a unique identifier and was never meant to be. Your finger though...........Now that IS unique to you :).

Samsung HMX-U10

@AC 09:49 GMT

"Since playback from the device itself takes up considerably less cycles that record, I would assume, from you comments, that the record process is a bit cack resulting in dodgy files." No the recorded files were fine. otherwise the transcoded files would have audio that was out of sync.

Still all we want is a small device with 720p at 30 fps (not 25 or god forbid 24) and a 10x optical zoom. OIS and a single button to set the white balance. That would do me :)
