If anything homosexuals are going to be much more green as they wont be having the 2.4 children who will go on to consume vast amounts of the earth's resources and pump out CO2 by the truck load.

And ban customers. Then there will be no risk of someone sneaking in a mobile phone or camcorder whatsoever.
Problem solved.
Actually several problems solved at once. No more rip-off prices for the ticket, the food, the drinks and even the car parking at my local cinema.
And then Vue can sit back and congratulate themselves that no one will be uploading their movies, and everyone will now have to download the higher quality screeners and DVD rips.
And it will save me and the missus £57 next time we think about going to the cinema.
Thats a Win Win Win situation as they say.
The problems I had with them took 6 months, countless emails and telephone calls to resolve. I say resolve but I gave up in the end. They blatantly lied to me, never returned calls, never sent me anything in writing back when they promised, I send them recorded delivery letters they never received them etc etc etc I would not recommend 3 to my worst enemy I really wouldnt.
When the world cup is over the company that makes "Anyone but England" shirts need to start producing "Anyone but 3" shirts.
This is a beautiful idea, and will show the coverage is shit all over the place. OK voice are finally of an acceptable level after 20+ years of mobiles but mobile internet is appalling on ALL the networks.
My acid test for a quality "internet on my phone" service is an hours walk out and about streaming a 32kb radio stream without it disconnecting once. The best ive ever had was 6 disconnections so far.
Steve Jobs knows how to do a presentation.
If anyone needs lessons is business presentations they could do worse than watch the recent Keynotes. His best one IMO was the very first Ipod keynote.
Getting 1000s upon 1000s of people to pay big money for your products is a rare skill and SJ/Apple cannot be faulted in this area.
Let down by the woeful coverage that Three (And all the mobile companies) have.
Im beginning to think that mobile internet is never going to get to a satisfactory standard, where you can actually use it without pulling your hair out.
My T-Mobile phone cant even stream a 32kb radio station without cutting out 10+ times on a 30 min walk. And as for Three I found their dongle useless, and the issues I had with their horrific customer service could fill a large book LOL
When I plan to treat myself to a nice shiny toy I do look forward to receiving it admittedly, but to get up at dawn and queue for hours is just unbelievably sad.
I could just about understand it if the thing was being given away for free, but queuing up for hours to spend lots of cash HAHAHAHAHA
adjective: not limited or restricted; infinite.
What part of that do O2 (and 100s of other shitty companies) not understand. I still cannot grasp how any company can get away with saying their service is unlimited when it isnt.
I use fast.co.uk broadband, and every one of their different broadband packages states exactly what the download limit is, and doesnt traffic shape whatsoever. It is possible to provide broadband in the UK without lies and bullshit.
If the government decides it needs to build a fibre optic network for the country bumpkins then use the money they get in general taxation, (or just add it to the £165 billion they borrow lol), dont start inventing new taxes willy nilly.
Otherwise it just ends up after a while as another tax that gets lost in government bureaucracy.
Wasnt the air passenger tax meant to be ringfenced for "green issues" yeah right
Spend the money on something people do want... like a decent broadband service in this country for everyone.
DAB is shit and with internet radio pointless really. FM radio still has proper uses, many mobiles have FM tuners, pocket tuners are great for a day out etc etc
And FM radio is more environmentally friendly compared with battery eating DAB. DAB should have a fuel tax on it of 70p in the £1for batteries, like petrol does lol
As others have said the whole point of a £180 box rather than a £20 one is the ability to record TV to watch when I want to watch it.
And another thing why are all these companies paranoid about HD. Its basically the same picture as before just a bit sharper. Its not made of gold or diamonds, so why do they go at such lengths to "protect" it.
In 5 years it will be HD2.0 or 3D or HOLOTV, but you can only view it with your ID card in the Humax slot with a cam link to the FACT office to make sure anyone watching it has inserted their ID.
But when they have 90% of us signed up it will be £100 to re-issue the card every few years or even to change your address (which will be compulsory).
I hate to think what this shithole of a country will be like in 10 years time, makes sad and angry at the same time thinking about it.
Size of screen to small, and ripoff charges.
Even on the Jesus phone browsing the web is a crap experience compared to a laptop or pc. And on normal everyday phone with a 2 inch screen its nigh impossible to read let alone use.
As to costs they are way to expensive overall, vague t&cs, and penalty charges are horrific on most networks!!
All citizens will be required to have audio and video equipment in every room of our homes. If youve nothing to hide youve nothing to fear.
If there is a crime committed by anyone who happens to be in your home then the homeowner will be evicted.
important note. If you get burgled then its the homeowners fault as the crime was committed in his house.
If the governments of the developed world cared 1/1000th as much about real crime that destroys peoples lives, as they do about people downloading a song, the world would be a much better and safer place.
And 99.5% of the money/effort/resources they put into stopping piracy will disappear into a great big black hole, because like muggers on the streets, the pirates are always one step ahead of the commodores.
