"the need for an extra tap for many common operations – punching in a new URL"
I don't know how many taps you need on other phones, but on WP7 the process is: Tap the address bar, type in URL, Tap Enter.
I can't think of any way to shorten this process other than to always have the address bar selected with the keyboard on display
The current Sky Go online package that is entertainment + sports is £35 a month.
It's a monthly contract and the season lasts 8 months.
I calculate that at £280 for the season
Assuming that you can get the basic package (£15) and add SSF1 (£10, I think on Freeview)
£25 * 8 = £200, or £20 a race, assuming Bahrain goes ahead
I'd be interested in a smart TV, but my PS3 has Lovefilm and catchup from BBC, ITV, C4, C5. My 360 has Lovefilm and catchup from Sky, ITV, C4, C5 (and soon BBC). My Virgin Box has catchup from BBC, ITV, C4, C5 and Sky.
With my 360 I can do all those things without even picking up a remote/controller, I can just shout orders at it and it does what I want. ("XBOX, Lovefilm")
But I shall give you a thumbs up anyway.
I used to get annoyed at the use of the "Americanism" of the word soccer, until I started following TGG, Rugby League and found out the history of the term, and even find myself using it occasionally
*I've tried watching 2 matches and didn't like it, though I am willing to give it one more chance at some point in the future
