Um
So, basically their method is more difficult than just watching a victim trying to initiate a SSL connection on a network you control and then bagging the handshake information?
Been able to do that for years with cain (& abel) from oxid.it

Not sure what Brian is moaning about, his site is indexed by Google as searching for www.briansouter.com produces results including his website. I guess his point is that searching for "Brian Souter" does not bring up his site which may* be due to a lack of meta information for the Google search engine to correctly (contextually) identify that site as being relevant to your search enquiry and more relevant than wikipedia or Stagecoaches' own website.
* yes, I said "may"
Side topic: Has the Title field actually been made optional at last ?
If Samsung wins this lawsuit, maybe they will be able to claim damages?
Other than that, Apple's suit is essentially claiming that they defined the image of tablet when in fact they have simply copied previous tablet ideas and used modern parts to make it a more usable device. They then turn around and claim people copied them!
"If Android was a desktop OS then i would agree with the tweaking, but when its a phone the last thing anyone should have to worry about is memory management!"
Has someone forgotten Windows Mobile ? That sucked ballz and never closed applications, I found myself killing running applications all the time.
And, If you are referring to Android, it has it's own memory management process that takes care of dormant applications if it /*needs*/ to.
My Colleague recommended an HTC Android phone to another friend. Weeks later said friend was complaining that his phone was useless, difficult to use and not what he was looking for. It turned out he had been duped (by the helpful sales-folk) into buying a WinPho7 HTC instead of an android one.
I am on my second Android phone and certainly would not recommend a Win phone to anyone with half a brain.
The age old technique of blaming video games, I'm sure we have seen massive drop-offs in on-line gaming traffic as a result of the protest ?
Here's a novel thought, could the Police be to blame for the Angst felt by the public after incidents like De Menezes in Stockwell and the latest shooting. As I understand it, the injured policeman was shot by a police bullet rather than the man in the taxi. I'm guessing we are in for another "We did nothing wrong" spiel during the whitewash.

"1) Deploy the army, restore order even if it means marshal law for a time."
Are you all joking, should they use M16 or M60s*? Perhaps we could airstrike London?
I am betting that some form of humbling of the Police for shooting another person under dubious circumstances is more likely to help. The police handling of the initial incident seems a bit dodgy as it transpires that the injured police officer may have been hit with a police bullet rather than the young man in the taxi. So who fired first.
I have to say that : I do not condone the thievery and vandalism taking place with these riots, but feel there is a just reason for the angst. A protest would be a more appropriate action, that is until the police start kettling everyone.
* American weapons, I know.
"Samsung scores highly in user satisfaction surveys, but buyers remain promiscuous – once they have their smartphone, they feel they owe the manufacturer very little gratitude. There's no brand loyalty."
If manufacturers kept up-to-date with the firmwares, I think they would have their brand loyalty.
Can't wait to see the advert on TV.
"Staff at Sellafield in Cumbria were among those monitoring the use of Cillit Bang in Dounreay's experimental chemical plant.
One of the clean-up team suggested trying the product after the fluid normally used was deemed to be slowing down the operation.
The cleaner was found to markedly reduce levels of radioactive contamination."
Is that kills 99.9% or all radiation ?
.... That I depends on the distribution source. If you rip it FROM your DVD, no problem. If you download it from an unauthorised vendor, but own an original, the vendor will be liable for the unauthorised distribution of a Copyrighted work. Most cases AFAIK are where people have been making available (seeding) copyrighted works which are downloaded by the investigator.
So essentially, you are unlikely to receive a letter from these parasites unless you
a) Have been making available copyrighted works and an investigator has downloaded from you (in part or in whole)
b) Have been unlucky enough to have been a false-positive in the investigators drag-net.
