Yawn
Honestly don't care about products until they are released these days, so much speculation that its just a waste of time trying to get any true facts.

...something about his own phone network and another which I can't remember.
They'll be loads and don't forget they will have all been massive successes, oh yes, massive.
To be fair the man did impress me and he was an individual BUT there are limits to everything. To be fair to Apple they haven't said much recently its just fanbois and people with stuff to flog and write that have been doing all this talking.
Come on guys unless it is solid I don't care.
I really don't understand why people get so excited chatting about what might be/might not be on the next phone.
Its really not that exciting, well for me but maybe because I deal in fact that makes me boring.
Same for analysts who are just making up rumours to drive people to the blog.
It doesn't offer anything that Twitter, which I use to follow sports, comedians and some film stuff and Facebook for friends and LinkedIn (rarely) for business.
Google + just doesn't offer anything new and I cannot be bothered to go through all my contacts again and catergorise them again just for Google.
I hate to say it but their concentration into just a few datacentres serving such massive populations and geographical areas means when a problem occurs it takes out a massive area.
They said the issue originally occured in Slough and wiped out the whole of EMEA, what about a redundant one somewhere else?
Still would rather give out Blackberrys for work phones, so much easier manage. Though Exchange 2010 does do link ups and control of data better.
Because all the different makers and then sometimes even the telcos put their branding and spin on the Android OS it makes it very difficult to work out whats good and what is not.
Sure geeks chatter on the internet about which is better and how the next one will be bestest ever but the consumer and business buyer cba to look at it all.
You know where you stand with Apples, two handsets that operate essentially the same but with some extra snazz on the 4. RIM is there with about 6 models that are variations of what came before but with good targets, low end, middle and flash.
Android will never get that and even me as an IT Manager with Android device might look to Apple next time as cba to look up what is best from Androids.
Oh and I think somebody said there was something called Windows Phone 7, but I think they might have been drunk!
Just too many phones doing too many different things. As manager of the phone contract it was hard to work out what was good and what was meant to be good but really the cheap one of the two. As it wasn't my sole job just gave up and started ordering Blackberries instead.
Look out HTC going the same way with 3 phones for every lifestyle group!
Clearly, as they always say this before any console launch well not the Avatar bs but really overstate the capabilities because no one ever questions them about it.
Now if you came out and said your soon to be released car was like Tron lightbike then brought out a Sinclair C5 you would never recover your reputation but in video games seems acceptable to come out with outlandish claims.
As they will have started heading out once they knew they would be using some. May already have been on station.
MR4A had to be canned after the Nimrod refuel accident, to be fair the amount that was spunked on the whole thing would have been better used on either buying a new existing airframe or designing a new one. But then BAE has been screwing us over for years with the jobs argument, and they do provide jobs...I had one.
Don't disagree with the Page bit though.
I like GMail but understand this is personal preference it does the grouping they mention as thats how I use it, I have got 7.5GBs of storage.
I also don't get the SPAM I do with my work testing email account (which has never been advertised and only used to bounce test our mail server). Its better than it used to be but far too many scammers get through!
And if you think the police would be able to tell O2/Vodafone/Orange to turn off the signal you would be mistaken, coverage is all important and if they thought they would lose customers due turning off transmitters you would be suprised by the robust response!
And anyway its always better to see what your real or imagined enemy is up to than waste time trying to block them.
