Have to agree with this one. My Swissgear/wenger has been through 4 years constant use and still looks almost new. I even managed to squeeze 2 15" laptops into it for a period!

Please for the love of God stop using manufacturers stock photos for all your reviews.
If these TV's were reviewed properly then they must have been set up in a room somewhere, possibly a room resembling a living room. Would it be too mush trouble to get a photo of each one. Then we could see what it looks like in an actual living room.
This of course assumes that the review wasn't carried out by visiting a local branch of currys and hastily making some notes before being kicked out by the manager.
Judges do not uphold the law, that is the job of the police.
Judges make judgements, if a judge decides that the "legal framework" is unsuitable then he can choose to ignore it. This could be overturned later on by a higher court if the defendants decide to appeal which is why most countries have a series of courts which keeps the various level of judgement in check.
The problem with Microsoft in the IT world is the perception that implementing it at the corporate level is "Easy".
2 of the last 3 contracts I've have as a SQL Server developer have been on projects where there has been no dedicated SQL Server DBA. The project managers seem to think that us developers can handle it.
I've seen the same mistakes made with other microsoft tech. Sharepoint, Biztalk and .net development. The perception is that any monkey can do it so don't pay more than peanuts, which then brings us on to out sourcing.
Thankfully the tide seems to be turning and companies are starting to realise that its better to have a couple of gurus (with some junior staff in attendance) doing it right first time than 20 certified idiots making a hash job if it and needing to be replaced at even more cost later on.
This is the one aspect which puts me off buying a kindle.
ebooks need to be as transferable as mp3's (and preferably DRM free) before I'll switch.
Alternatively a subscription service giving me access to x number of books pre month for y pounds per month would tempt me as long as the ratio of x to y was correct
"The layout leaves something to be desired as two of the USB 2.0 ports are inconveniently located on the rear of the chassis along with the power connector"
Personally I hate the current trend for putting all the connections on the side of the laptop. which then means you've got wires all over the place rather than neatly out the back.
As a laptop user who's laptop sits on a desk most of the day, a couple of ports at the back is handy for those things which remain plugged in all day, e.g. mouse, mobile internet dongle, external hard drive.
The extra USB ports on the side you can then keep free for things like usb memory stick which you want instant access to.
An up button in windows vista/7 is redundant, just click the level you want to go to in the address bar
And the office address bar is so much neater now. Everything is nicely organised and always in the same place no matter who's machine your using. My male orientated brain, having learnt the new system can now go for a quick kill shot every time
You don't like outlook so it must be crapware?
Bit of a strong comment from someone who's only "sampled it"
I've been using outlook for 10+ years and never had an issue with it. It synchs nicely with my phone, integrates well with the rest of the MS Office suit (including OneNote) and now that I'm on Windows 7 searching for content in emails is almost instant.
"while we work out how to give Steve some more money for his next set of toys!"
One day you'll realise that life DOESN'T revolve around owning Apple products and you'll wish that your bank account was a bit healthier and Steve had a few less toys.
Of course Steve won't give a toss, he'll be on some yacht in the Med with more hot 19 year old girls than you've had hot dinners.
"it's a great choice for gamers who don't feel the need to brag of their allegiance to a gaming brand"
Just a great choice for Apple consumers who need to brag of their allegiance to a brand!
Personally I can't see the control interface being as good as the PSP or DS.
The lack of buttons and second screen means that you have to keep blocking the screen with your finger.
I have a sony ericsson X1 with WM6.1 SPB shell and pointui installed (i can then pick my front end as my mood take me)
I've been very pleased with it so far... i've got a few nice applications installed, 98% of the time it runs fine. Smooth and error free
A few friends who have seen it love the setup and ask if I would recommend it to them
To which I always answer NO get an iPhone
As good as windows mobile can be, you really need to be an absolute fucking geek to have the patience to get it into a working condition.
Luckily I just about fall into the right category of person to happily coexist with a windows mobile device. Most of my friends are not.
ANPR = Automatic Number Place Recognition
Nothing to do with tax or insurance its just mainly used for those purposes at the moment.
Incidently the police cars also have it so that car registrations can also be quickly checked to see if the registration plate is on the alert/stolen list
SPECS = SPEed Check Services
All to do with speeding, nothing to do with vehicle tracking
